Your AI is terrible

Your AI is terrible. It contradicts what it says after It makes a recommendation. I found it necessary to speak to one of your representatives who actually advised that your AI was giving me bad info kudos to your staff. I have and am learning that the hurrier we go with AI the behinder we get. The shoes were delivered in a timely manner and outside of the seam on the outside of the toe box which needs to soften the shoes are stable and comfortable. Time will tell when it comes to wear and comfort. I look forward to wearing these shoes in comfort for several years. I take care of my footwear and shoes usually last 15 or 20 years so we will see if Keen or Kuru are the best for stability and wear. Thanks to your staff.. junk the AI and keep the good people that you have.

I wont say they are a bargain price…

I wont say they are a bargain price wise but having only owned one pair before this I believe they are better than most shoe. The issue I had with my delivery concerned me not knowing how the mix up had occurred. I was pleased ( not thrilled) when I was told it was a clerical issue sending the new shoes to my past address and not me placing the order wrongly.

The customer service is amazing

The customer service is amazing! Very understanding when I reached out within a couple of days of receiving my product(s), explaining that they just didn't work out for me. They were very quick to send me instructions on how to return said products. This is the kind of company I would not have any issues with, when it comes to ordering shoes/sandals, etc. Very honorable folks!

I called to exchange a pair of tennis…

I called to exchange a pair of tennis shoes for a larger size. I spoke with a customer service rep who was incredibly helpful and kind. She took time to hear my issue and helped resolve it quickly. She was a pleasure to work with.

Greatest company that I ever encountered with

My experience was awesome ever since I found this company online by mistake and ever since that day I really don't buy from anyone else so now I am going to order another pair that I really want can't wait to get them 😜 hopefully you still have my size because they're just flying out the door like hot cakes
kuru tennis shoes are the best the customer service is excellent and friendly there staff is amazing I've been buying from kuru for about 13 yrs now and I have never been disappointed with my products I highly highly recommend kuru products especially if you are on your feet all day long these are the shoes to get no ins ands or buts

Easy and fast

My first pair of Kurus and one of the lace eyelets broke after three weeks. I emailed a picture to customer service. They responded quickly to my problem and replaced the shoes with no other questions.

Horrible quality/durability

Incredibly comfy and supportive but horrible quality and extremely horrible quality for the almost $300 CAD I paid for them. The heels inside started wearing through after a month of use and less than a year in the stitching is coming apart and leather breaking away from the sole to create a big hole. Also not even remotely water resistant. Wish they could create this idea in a better quality product or at least drastically reduce the price if they're not even going to last a year

We completely understand why you’d feel so disappointed, especially when the comfort and support worked well for you initially. At that price point, it’s absolutely reasonable to expect the shoes to hold up much longer, and issues like interior heel wear, stitching failure, and separation around the sole would understandably be frustrating.

We were unable to locate any order history or previous interaction with our team using the name provided on the review, so I’ve requested additional information through Trustpilot, such as an email address, so I can look into this more quickly for you.

We do have a 6-month warranty that covers manufacturing defects, and I’d genuinely love the opportunity to see if we can make this right for you. You can either update your information directly through Trustpilot and I’ll reach out personally, or you can email me directly at reviews@kurufootwear.com so we can investigate further.

UPDATE 5/18: After reviewing the order, we found these boots were purchased in January 2025, making them nearly a year and a half old rather than under a year old. While we do offer a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects, this pair falls well outside that coverage period, so we’re unfortunately unable to replace them under warranty.

That said, we still wanted to help. We’ve added $60 worth of KURU Cash to the account to use toward a new pair, and our GURU team would be happy to help recommend a style that may offer the durability and performance you’re looking for based on your needs and daily wear.

We truly appreciate the feedback, as it helps us continue improving our products and customer experience.

I had some delays with the fedex…

I had some delays with the fedex shipping that added a couple weeks to the time line but it all ended in the best way -- the shoes did arrive! I had help from the KURU customer service and that made a big difference. It all ended well. A refund had been offered but I stayed with the original order and it came through perfectly.

Kuru is a joke.

After searching and researching I picked this company for shoes for my job of long hours standing and walking on concrete floors. Ordered my shoes, style doesn't matter in this case, and when delivered I found I was sent two left shoes in different sizes. I contacted them and was then told that the shoe style I ordered was out of stock so if I wanted those shoes I would have to wait an undetermined amount of time for them to ship to me. I just requested a refund. This is the most incompetent online store I have ever dealt with. DO NOT RECOMMEND. AVOID KURU. Go with another brand that can at least send you a pair of shoes.

We completely understand why receiving two left shoes in different sizes would be incredibly frustrating, especially after spending time researching and choosing shoes for long shifts on concrete floors. That’s a very strange and disappointing situation, and we’re truly sorry that happened.

After reviewing our records and listening to the phone call with our GURU team, we do want to clarify a few details about how the situation was handled. The original plan during the call was to process an exchange for you. However, once it was discovered that the specific size you needed was out of stock, our GURU offered alternatives, including a different color option or a refund. At that point, you chose the refund option.

You were asked to send photos of the mismatched shoes so we could document the issue properly, and once those photos were received, the refund was issued the very same day, within about 20 minutes of the call. We also did not require you to return the incorrect shoes.

We absolutely understand your disappointment that the style you originally wanted is currently unavailable. As an additional gesture, we’ve added $30 in KURU Cash to your account that can be used toward a future purchase if you decide to give us another try. You can also sign up on our website for an email notification when that style comes back in stock.

While we understand why this experience left a negative impression and agree that you never should have received that shipment in the first place, we do feel our team worked quickly to correct the issue and provide the resolution you requested.

What a find

I’m on a strict budget so spending over $100 for sneakers is a big decision but the only exercise I get is my daily walk I’m 76 years old so at my age everything seems to be breaking down This is my first pair of Kuru and yesterday was my first day wearing my new Roam sneakers and they’re amazing I didn’t feel any pain in my toes especially my big toe that has a callous Also, I felt like I was standing taller so they help with pasture as well I’m very happy Thank you
