Expensive, not very ergonomic, many negative details
I had high expectations for this brand, and it had been recommended to me. After 16 years of being loyal to other brands, I decided to try it. In my case, the Kuschall wheelchair cost me around $5,100, and it has been a complete disappointment. I had to go back to my old chair after only four months; I just couldn't stand it any longer. It looks great in photos and has excellent marketing, but in practice, the chair falls far short. It's not practical, it's not ergonomic, it's not lightweight, the backrest folding mechanism is awful, the paint quality is fragile, and other details like the carbon fiber showing signs of wear make it look old in no time. The dust covers rattle and vibrate because they aren't secured by the faulty backrest folding system. The brakes are also very noisy, and if you request a 90º degree recline, it always reclines a few degrees more that's incomprehensible. Those with lower limb injuries should avoid this brand; for those with higher limb injuries, it's comfortable, which is its only positive aspect. I think that when a company becomes a multinational, it stops making things with artisanal quality. I have a $5,100 chair that's been sitting in a corner for four months, gathering dust. Even if you order it custom-made, it feels like you're using a chair that's a size too big. Finally, they told me it would take three to four weeks, and it took four months to deliver.
