ridiculously short return policy scam
With the ridiculously short return policy window that is hidden online, and the expensive price of the jeans - it seems like a scam. Hundreds of people online agree. I bought 3 pairs of jeans. Kept 1 and tried to return the other 2 THAT I DID NOT EVEN OPEN. But I was a few days past the "21 day" return policy (huh?!?) and they refused to take the items back - not even for store credit. They must be making SO much money off of this scam. BEWARE.

I emailed twice before getting a standard “we appreciate your feedback but Final Kut is no refund no exchange. I wrote again 3 times and got the same seemingly automated message. I finally submitted online and seemed to get a person but it went back to “Judy” who said again there are no refunds or exchanges and they are a different cut so that explains the difference. She wrote again giving measurements showing the length which of course is different but didn’t list the waist and I have the picture showing both items and how the waist on the shorts is significantly bigger! I will never order again as I can’t trust that the items will even remotely fit!
Bad inventory system and unfair refund policies
I ordered jeans from the Final Kut section and a tshirt. My order went through but a week later I got an email saying I had been issued a refund for the jeans. No other information was given. Later I received a confirmation of delivery that inaccurately included the jeans even though just the shirt was delivered. So I just got a tshirt but paid the whole $10.95 for shipping for the partial order. Customer service said that is their policy. So be warned that their inaccurate inventory system may not have the items that you place in your order but if they have part of it you will still pay the full shipping amount.

I’ve bought countless pairs of pants from Kut from the Kloth, but this experience ended my loyalty on the spot. I purchased an $80 pair of jeans that didn’t fit, and when I tried to return them, I was suddenly told they were “final sale.” That label was nowhere on the product page, nowhere in checkout, nowhere in my confirmation. If it had been, I never would’ve bought them.
Their refusal to honor a basic, transparent return policy is unacceptable. It feels deceptive, and it shows exactly how little they value returning customers. I’ve spent plenty of money with this brand over the years, but after this, they won’t see another dollar from me.

While I've liked the items I've purchased in person, I think they are a total scam. No one to answer phones, AI to answer emails, no shipping updates on an over $300 order for over two weeks
Beware of holiday return policy!
I've been purchasing jeans and pants from Kut for years, so for Christmas I asked my husband for something. He bought during their Black Friday sale. When I tried them on at Christmas, they didn't fit so I reached out for a return or exchange only to find out that the return window closed on Christmas Eve!! What kind of retailer advertises Black Friday specials knowing full well there's going to be gifts bought for Christmas, but the return window closes before you've even opened the gift?! Ridiculous

Ridiculous 21 day return policy, no holiday exceptions
I asked my husband for something from them for Xmas. He bought it on 11/7. I tried to return it on 12/30 in exchange for a smaller size. It was denied due to their "21 day return policy" with no holiday exceptions, even for exchanges. So basically, they know people will not expect such a ridiculous return policy and be stuck with things that don't fit, etc. This means a company that doesn't care about their customers. No more money from me! Sad bc I like their clothes too...
Terrible policies quality control
Wife tried on a pair in an Evereve location. Found a better price direct from Kut From The Kloth website. On 11/23, purchased two pairs for Christmas in the size that she tried. They arrived at least 1-2 sizes too big. Attempted to return or exchange. Customer service phone lines were completely disconnected through New Years and the email response from the customer service manager simply indicated that there was no option to return beyond their putrid 21-day window, with no holiday window extensions. Policy also indicates that the window starts from delivery date, while customer service rep indicated order date. No options whatsoever at this point, would have been better off flushing $200, as I’d have a better chance of getting my money back. Borderline predatory, unethical practices. This place is a fraud and a joke.

Like many others have said, buying from them directly is not a great experience. I own many pairs of their jeans and have loved them in the past. I ordered a pair from them directly, and it is a style that I have owned previously and they were great, this was not the case with this pair. After wearing them a handful of times the fabric started to pull away from a seam and fray, and after looking closely it was a manufacturing defect. This was not normal wear, it was after washing them and when I put them on the fabric had pulled away completely leaving a large hole. I reached out to get a replacement pair, but I was told that it was after the 21 day return window and there was nothing they could do. I had probably owned them just over a month, which is not a long time at all. I didn't want my money back, I was hoping to exchange or maybe even get credit toward a new pair, but I got absolutely NOTHING!! When paying almost $100 they should last more than 3 wearings and 1 washing cycle. I will still purchase their products, but only from a store where I can return within a reasonable time if the product has a defect. DO BETTER!! This is a large investment and you need to stand behind your products, not just tell someone that there is nothing that you can do. 21 days is not long enough to know if something will fall apart, that is why the majority of places have a much longer time frame for defective products.
UPDATE: As you can see from their reply, they did in fact reach out to me regarding my initial complaint about a defect and asked me to send in additional information, which I did immediately. Since that time I have sent a couple of messages asking for an update all with NO RESPONSE. How the customer service could actually get worse, I do not know, but somehow it did.
I will continue to purchase from a store because I love the jeans, but I would never order directly from them again, it has been the worst customer service experience that I have ever had with a company. If they are not able to offer a credit or replace the jeans they need to let me know, not completely ghost me after reaching out.

Buyer beware
Buyer beware: DO NOT BUY!!!! I ordered a pair of jeans which arrived too big, so I wanted to make a return. I have reached out to costumer service 3 times now to start the return process and no one responds. Their online return portal doesn't work so I'm just stuck.. I will NEVER buy online with this brand again.
Bleeding Blue and Being Exposed
Purchased a pair in a Madison, CT Boutique for $120. I washed it when I got home and the blue dye bleed out was horrible. It had to be washed several times to not turn my skin blue! The fabric is soft but it's not jean material. The zipper continues to come down and I use a safety pin to hold it up. It is very cheaply made and not worth what you're paying for. I would rather wear my rough wrangler jeans any day for the same cost and BEST quality.

DISSATISFIED REPEAT CUSTOMER
I am a repeat, loyal customer and I had eventuating circumstances which precluded me from exchanging a pair of FULL PRICE jeans in their 21 day window. I asked for grace this ONE TIME and was denied it. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. I will no longer be buying Kut jeans anymore....
Horrible customer service
I received two items, both with defects. Shorts were cut very unevenly. I was told they were cut that way to “cover your bottom”…makes zero sense. They were also described as having a 6in inseam. They were not 6in all the way around. The pants I received were over an inch shorter than the website listed. They refused to waive the return shipping, despite sending photos for proof of defects. Very difficult to deal with and not customer friendly.
