Since cajasur has been taken over by kutxabank myself and my husbands civil service pensions have not reached our account nor have they been returned to civil service pension department. We were told that we didn't have to do anything and the pensions would go through automatically after the change. Nobody at the bank can tell us where the pensions are. Anyone else experienced this problem?

The best bank, great service, reliable people.

It's hard to believe that such a corrupt entity even exists and allows itself to exploit people and hold their money hostage

I have been trying for over a week to get in contact with my appointed "advisor" by email and telephone: several emails and several telephone calls a day. Following their standard procedure, they never answer the phone, but what is relatively new is that they do not answer the mails and do not return the calls either. Given that you are, literally, not allowed to talk to the "advsior" unless you have an appointment, the whole system has become totally kafkian. I recommend everybody to take their savings and investments somewhere else, there must be some other banking institution just a bit more respectful to the clients.

Avoid avoid avoid. Tried to keep my business local but what a mistake it was. After months of back and forth, they refused to issus a mortgage of less than 40% of the house value. I eventually switched to UCI and the mortgage was approved and FEIN issued within 10 days. When I tried to move my deposit money from Kutxabank, they suddenly came up with a withdrawal fee of €1500 which was later reduced to €720 just to withdraw my own money.
The word Cowboys comes to mind. Disgraceful company.

Was the best I had ever encountered when they had an office in calpe. Sadly they closed that last office and the Benidorm office and the customer service staff at their head office are utterly useless and unhelpful. Normal Spanish banking customer service. Awful

Fue lo mejor que me había encontrado cuando tenían una oficina en calpe. Lamentablemente cerraron esa oficina y la oficina de Benidorm y el personal de servicio al cliente en su oficina central son completamente inútiles. . Atención al cliente típico de bancos en España. Horrible

Avoid this bank. If you're traveling though Spain, avoid this place. Their machines swallow your cards for no reason and they will not help you.

You always need to check your account as they are good at charging fees here and there. Customer service is acceptable but the employee turnover rate is quite high that every timeIwent there the team was different. No personal service and you need to explain your history to them every single time.
