Established in 1998, K Wood Builders Limited are based in Thornton, Lancashire. We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship which covers every aspect of brickwork, from garden walls to a full new build project from groundwork to completion. After leaving school, Kirk Wood served his time with a local building firm whilst also attending Blackpool & Fylde College where he acquired NVQ Levels 1, 2 & 3 in bricklaying/construction. After gaining his NVQs, he chose to stay on for a further year to complete the Advanced Craft in Brickwork which he passed in February 1998. He spent the next few months working with his father whilst deciding what he was going to do. He started K Wood Builders in late 1998 and hasn't looked back since. Kirk has never forgotten his bricklaying roots, he started off alone, building garden walls and taking on small jobs in and around Thornton Cleveleys and has slowly progressed over the last 20+ years to employing a skilled, but small team, who together, have built some of the most striking and extraordinary properties throughout the County. K Wood Builders offer a friendly, professional, yet personal service and are happy to assist you in any aspect of the work you require. From general advice and the planning process to recommendations for interior design, fixtures and fittings. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and the service we offer. Most of our work, for several years now, has been acquired purely through word of mouth from our many satisfied clients. We look forward to discussing your project with you.
