Why does this brand get so much hype? The quality is garbage and the customer care is a joke.
Excited, I ordered 2 onesies for my little one. They are very expensive but I figured the quality must speak for itself. After receiving my order I washed them and hung to dry, after a few days of wear (only to bed) I noticed massive pilling on the leg and sides. This happened with both. Also as a side note the sizing was off, even though I bought 2 of the same sizes one was clearly smaller then the other..... Back to the pilling, which got worse to the point where my brand new piece looked like it was years old and a raggedy used piece of clothing. I was so disappointed (and was convinced this couldn't be normal) I contacted customer care who suggested that this is happening because I don't own their bamboo sheets and even had the audacity to suggest I buy them! They even told me this was due to their product being SO "pure" and high quality that its normal to pill! I'm never buying from them again. The quality is awful ( doesn't matter how well you maintain them or wash them, it makes no difference) and the customer care just brushes you off with bs excuses. These days customer care is so important and this company just doesn't have it. To top it off, the sizing is not consistent. I regret falling for the hype and wish I had done more research before buying from Kyte baby. There are so many other bamboo fabric baby brands that are much better. I truly wish I can post photos on here for you all to see what these onsies looked like after a few uses!

I purchased the long sleeve pajamas in the panda print for my toddler, which was super cute. After the first wash - following their laundering instructions - the arms completely tore. I emailed customer service asking for a replacement and they said product damages like these aren't covered. They did issue me a store credit - but I'd have to pay $7.50 again for shipping. I insisted on either a refund or a replacement sent to me without me paying for shipping and they refused. I cannot believe how bad their customer service is, in addition to the poor quality (or poor quality control) of their product. What a major letdown of what I thought was a reputable brand. Spend your money on a small business that stands behind their product. That's not Kyte baby.

Furthermore, when I've tried to leave this honest review on their website to save potential customers from this headache, they have not published it.

I made a purchase on 5/15/23. It is now 5/25/23 and my order hasn’t even been processed. I reached out to Customer Service and they told me it may take up to 15 days for orders to be processed with additional time for delivery. So, it seems like fulfillment may take up to 3 weeks at which time my baby will have probably outgrown everything.

Kyte is probably the OG bamboo baby brand for a lot of people. They have a clean and simple style that they have perfected! Their limited release prints are always beautiful and well executed. They fulfill orders quickly and effectively. My baby (and I) love wearing their clothes because they are soft and stretchy. Their harry potter collection is the best one I've seen yet and we basically live in those pieces.

The owner is very active on social media and is always ready to elevate her brand to the next level while remaining true to the minimalist, simple aesthetic we love.
