Not sure what the other reviewer is speaking of and wonder if she has the right company perhaps? Lovely candles. Yes, they are not your $50 8oz luxury candle but obviously at $18 for a 16oz double-wick candle, you can’t expect to be mind-blown. Definitely a step up from Yankee Candle (blech) with their layered and more complex scents. If you just want something that smells nice and doesn’t break the bank, go for it! Just don’t put it next to your white sofa…

I am absolutely livid about this candle that my husband bought from Marshall’s! First of all it was $14.99 and nearly killed us due to the black smoke that was coming from it. This candle claim to burn clean, well that is a lie. I have a pink sofa that sits at the foot of my bed and when I woke up the next morning my sofa was completely ruined! Black smoke damage all over my sofa. Not only is my sofa ruined but for the past 3 days my husband allergies have been acting up and I’ve been waking up with a scratchy, dry throat!! I honestly am in shock! Also I just did laundry and left a few white socks and shirts on the table and they look very Smokey also. $1000 sofa ruined!
