Labcorp Langhorne, Pa Jeff-Bucks Hospital is a joke!
LabCorp in Langhorne, PA @ Jefferson Buckshospital on Oxford Balley Rd:
The first time we went there a few weeks ago, we walk in 7 min before their closing time or end of business hours and are met with 2 ladies, one holding her hand up like she’s talking to one of her girlfriends, not a freakin patient, “oh no-we closed”. I said the dr just sent us to you from upstairs, “no we closed”. Apparently they don’t understand you take your last patient at that time, you aren’t running out of the door at that time. Show a little pride and work ethic in what you do, girls.
Then today we tried again and sat there for 20 min in the waiting room while we can hear all the girls talking about everything BUT work. This is the most unprofessional, ghetto, dump I’ve ever been to as far as Labcorps go. If I could give zero stars, I would.
False advertising hours/locations
I was given a list of locations. I found one that showed open on Saturdays with no appointment being required. Stated location showed that it opens at 7:30am. I arrived there before 7am hoping to avoid any lines. There was a faded sign on the gate that this location was closed starting 6/24/2025 however at the bottom of sign it stated starting 6/28 this location will only be open Saturdays. I assumed that to be true so I waited along with around 6 other patients outside the gate until a group of nurses from a different facility were exiting work and told us the location was permanently closed.
This company is claiming my insurance won't cover
This company is claiming my insurance didn't cover something. but can't explain what that is or why. They seem to want my money, but I only go to treatment after my insurance approves of it.
Frustrating
I called to make an appointment and got a never ending voicemail loop that kept referring to another choice. I would not even contemplate going to these poorly run facilities had my Dr. not requested. These facilities have NOT changed their customer service since the 5 years I quit going there for anything.
My experience was what I would say…exceptional nice young lady took care of my labs that needed to be done
My experience was what I would say exceptional.!! I had my blood work done today, and have been there before....
Such a nice young lady took care of me today.
Very professional, and pleasant to have my labs drawn.
Worst place I ever had to deal with
Worst place I ever had to deal with. No one knows what is going on. No one can help you. Double billed for same service but different days. Both bills different price for same test that I never had. They charged me 5times the amount for the 2nd service I never received. There managers and staff suck. Don’t know how to talk to people.
How about having someone answer the phones!
Labcorp has to have the worst absolute phone servicing program in existense! I was told I could go to any location to get a prescribed x ray. I have called numerous locations near me. Each time I am told to leave a number and someone will get back to me, 3 Days, a call and messsage at each facility and not one call back! The 1.3 horrible rating on this website might actually is more than likely being generous!!
Horrible telephone service system
Horrible telephone service system. People answer by saying "hello". Long wait times, confusingcommunications, client services left a message and left the incorrect phone number for returned call. Will try to avoid LabCorp for IHC needs,
Results on lab work take forever
Results on lab work take forever. Before they bought the lab at my hospital I received my results ln 3 to 4 hours. Which is critical to me since I'm a kidney transplant recipient. It now has been over 24 hours and nothing . I'm hoping to see if the other hospital in my area does not use Labcorp if they do not I will start going there to avoid this again. The shame is the good people at my current lab location are now employed by this evil conglomerate of a company. I will miss seeing them if I change lab location.
Slowest Labcorp's
These Labcorp's in Salisbury, MD (all of them) are severly understaffed, overworked and the wait times are ridiculous. Labcorp HQ needs to add employees at these offices cause ive been to many other Labcorp's and these are the worst.
Poor and unprofessional service
Poor and unprofessional service. Said they didn't get the order for my service from my Dr., I called the Dr. at the desk in the Labcorp, the Dr.'s office said they sent it when I made the appointment and twice, again, on the day of the appointment. After the Dr.'s sent it, the bad-customer service rep behind the desk, didn't know where to look for the "order" in the inbound email/ fax. Plus, the rep spoke in a very angry tone and told me to sit down, I asked "did you get the order from the Dr., I'm on the phone with them right now. I need to get this done and go back to work. Poor service for a service that should be an IN and Out type of thing with blood samples and drug tests. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Beware Healthcare Professionals
Heathcare professionals, be cautious when performing a specimen drop off at the 1106 Alston Ave, Fort Worth LabCorp location. There is an employee who has now twice raised her voice in a highly unprofessional manner at me while attempting to drop off a patient specimen. The first time it happened I shrugged it off as her having a bad day. Now that it has happened again, I feel the need to warn the company management and others of this employee. She demonstrated an aggressive and berating tone that exceeded the need of the situation. The experience ended with what I perceived to be an intentionally intimidating stare before another employee stepped in. Overall these experiences have made the experience at this LabCorp highly unpleasant and troubling. I do not think this particular employee represents the overall culture of the company but this experience should be scrutinized.
Worst company I have ever had to deal…
Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Don't even bother calling the billing department because when the agent makes adjustments and tells you "it's fixed" corporate rejects it and keeps threatening you.
Each Lab work is a Nightmare with them
Absolutely awful experience with this company every time I need lab work done, they keep going at me with these surprise bills even though my insurance remained unchanged and I know they take my kind of insurance too! They tried to make me pay over $800+ for a bloodwork a DOCTOR needed, just terrible and flat out evil. They're sadly the only lab that my clinic works with which makes it 10× worse
had to leave after waiting 45min.. lost confidence
waited 30min. they lost my electronic order. had to resend while i was there. front desk woman was obnoxious and rude. insisted i didnt check in on the electronic check in and asked me to do it again. if you dismiss her rudeness, i was a customer fwiw, i dont have any confidence in the outcome. what a poorly operated business. stay away
The Berlin Maryland address
If you need bloodwork done, at least the RN is professional. The rest of the staff is a shit show and you are better off breaking into a vet clinic and stitch yourself up like the 3rd Terminator movie's John Connor. I attempted to go here twice. The "desk person" had 8 people in the waiting room the first time I visited. The woman who I can only guess was educated by the public grade schools of Baltimore couldn't get a single name on the charts right. The names were John, Barbara and myself. These are common names in the English language. She couldn't read them off the charts!! Later, when I tried to explain that I have insurance, she said she ran it in the computer but she was told that I would have to pay out of pocket. I explained to her that is not possible. She said she would run it again. I sat back down. I watched her for 7 minutes where she didn't even touch the computer. She called me back to the desk addressing me as Robert, (my name is Justin.) I advised her that I watched her the whole time and she never even looked at her computer in the time much less typed on the keyboard. (I don't know if she can even type at this point.) I left without my blood work that day.
Months later, I returned. A different "desk worker" took my forms. Again, these forms clearly show I have health insurance. Because she couldn't be bothered she wanted me to just pay cash. After the 4th time showing her paperwork, she growled and told me to "sign here." I get the test results back and they listed my testosterone well over 1400. ( I am a 50 year old male who naturally remains in the mid 200s without doctor's care, so this is scientifically impossible even with injections.) After 2 hours of trying to contact the lab folks in New Jersey, I was told "I'd just have to do the blood work again!!"
The RN's seem ok, but these "no child left behind" desk workers are lazy and will try to get you to pay out of pocket rather than filing one piece of paper. I was able to redirect my doctor to Atlantic General. Health care sucks these days, but these "don't care/not my job" folks have no business in health care.
Fake appointments, are they fraud?
LabCorp text me to tell me that my appointment is set and this is a reminder. The problem is I never set an appointment. So now I’m just waiting for to be billed for a missed appointment. Then there’s no number to call? Terrible. Asinine.
Insanely predatory and difficult to work with.
Dare I say evil company.
Every time I have testing work done through them, it turns into a nightmare where I am billed incorrectly and I am led on an insane chase between my PCP, insurance, and Labcorp, each pointing the finger at someone else. Their customer service is absolutely awful and I am always on hold for an insane amount of time. All of the work is INSANELY expensive without insurance. They are nothing short of predatory
The Gambrills Labcorp is the worst I’ve…
The Gambrills Labcorp is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Not only did they open the doors late, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful and belittling. I have never been treated so poorly. And to top it all off, I was left with a 3” bruise that lasted over a week. That has never happened to me when I get blood drawn at my doctor’s office
I will not be going back.
I had an appointment at 12:45 PM today…
I had an appointment at 12:45 PM today at 15005 Shady Grove Rd Ste 130, Rockville, MD 20850. But Called me at 1:20 PM to the front desk. Asked for my insurance and gave to her. While I was standing there, she was chit chatting with another lady until about 1:30 PM. Then she gave a printout stating that you have unpaid bill and told me that they would not do the test because of unpaid bill. I asked her why my insurance did not pay. She told me talk to your doctor. I left the lab corp. when to the doctor ‘s office. The office called the lab corps and found out that my insurance information was somehow did not reached the lab corp with the blood sample from Doctor office because of technical problem.
This lady at the front desk at least checked the reason for nonpayment and could have taken blood from me after collecting my insurance information.
My experience is much pleasant at Quest when I make appointment. They call me within 10-15 minutes after appointment time.
