Speaking with Esteban Solares

These people , that website is a big joke.
The good reviews they get are probably by some of their own people they pay to write good reviews.
I reserved 4 days ago at a given price, they called.me the next day to say it was not available but they offered the same flight for double the price.
BUT , on the same day they offered me a new price , double from the price of my reservation, they were again selling prices at the first lower price i reserved , eventhough I was on the phone with te CS and they were telling me they were not offering that price anymore...
Well, i reserved again on internet with the low price to see the outcome, and yet , 2 days after , they called me to cancel my booking and offered a new double the price ticket...
So i checked again , and they were still , 4 days after the first reservation, offering the low price on the web.
So i called them and the CS told me clearly that the low price they offer is only for one ticket and someone bought it before me .... Ahahah, what a bunch of liars and so bad commercials practices....
Dont loose your time with these people , they will screw you at the end anyway.
Choose another company.

Booking my international flights with them was like having a trusted friend guide me through the process. The agent I worked with was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very calm, taking the time to understand my preferences and ensuring I got the best possible deal. Their attention to detail made the experience feel more like planning a trip with a friend rather than a transaction. I couldn't have asked for a better booking experience!

Now having read reviews here, the negative ones seem to express the same experience as mine.

I made a booking yesterday (#120365) and received a confirmation email right away. It said the tickets would be sent in a separate email which I waited for but wasn't seeing.

I sent them an email asking when to expect tickets and I got a response saying an agent would contact me with them.

The next day I receive a WhatsApp from Esteban saying he's from the company and asking if he can call because they couldn't make the reservation for some reason and wants to discuss. I say I'd prefer to message and he still tries to call me on WhatsApp.

As I'm not from the country I'm currently in, I don't always understand clearly on the phone and also ordered online for the convenience of not having any of this which I mention to him. I also wanted messages as evidence should there come a time I would need it as a reference. My request for a message or email is ignored and he still tries to call. I refuse to answer and realise how suspicious it all seemed.

Once I cotton on I say I'd like to cancel because it seems suspicious and send an email to the company with screenshots of the interaction. Thankfully I was not charged and have temporarily blocked my card until I formally talk to my bank about it. I have not had any further response from them either with email or message, which for me only confirms my suspicions that something isn't right.

This appears to be a scam, and I wouldn't waste time or divulge any of your information to them! Better you pay a higher price and keep your personal data safe! If they maintain they're a legit company, I think they ought to rethink their strategy and communication entirely. Typically people don't order online wanting to wait around or the hassle of a phone call.

The company was trying to sell me tickets for a higher price than the original reservation. I booked a ticket for 2 people for $1,100US, I received my confirmation by email right away. The next day LafeTravel called me saying that there were no seats on the return flight, but that they could offer me seats for $850US more. I asked for the same price of the original reservation. They said that is out of their control, that I can go directly with the airline, but that it would cost $1300 more. The lady from LafeTravel tried to convince me to get the return tickets for $850 more, because it was a 'special price'. So instead of paying $1,300 they wanted me to pay $2,150. This is a scam!

I am very disappointed. I choose a flight at one price and then it turns out that it was not available, if not, one at double the cost offering some things, I pay what it costs because I need the flight and they tell me that they are going to charge it in two parts.

I need a change of date and they tell me I have to pay $300 more for the change, but on the airline's website the flight only cost the first price I saw at the beginning. I ended up making the change with the airline and lost the extra payment I made.

Esteban continued to try to get me a fair fare when the first wasn’t available.I ended up being only $16 more. Thank you

Nelson was very patient and courteous. He helped me a lot with booking my flight.

I dont feel they are honest, I ordered a ticket For $756 and I was not ticketed , so I called the next day and they say that prices went up to $1300, while online they show they have the flight now for $707. I just ordered the same ticket by a regular travel agency for $1075

I love the fact that I was assisted and the process wasn't a long one. This is my first time booking with lafetravel and the experience is great.

I was booking a flight, the next 12 hours an agent call me and said me that the fight up double price, I didn't accept this option.

So the agent told me that he will search a new option, but never replay (the must important they have the information of my credit card)

I sent an email 21 march, unfortunately until now they did not reply.

worst service...

The company is lace travel. Estaben took the time with me to make sure a received everything a I needed for my trip. I felt like he really took care of me

I tried to book a flight and waited for confirmation which did not come, so I had to email them only to find out the flight wasn't even available, they weren't even going to say anything if I hadn't sent the email.
