Quality has really dropped in last year. New school blazer clearly made by a different supplier and inferior in every way. Still sold for the same price though.

Thank you School Colours Direct for sorting out my daughters uniform - very helpful customer service.
Ordered a blazer. It didn't fit. I returned it. I did not receive a refund. Lindsey requested proof of delivery. I sent proof of delivery. Now Lindsey doesn't respond to emails, and I still don't have a refund a month later. Will be reporting to the school and request that they move uniform providers.
Poor communication - they don't even have a telephone number. Missing items, delayed delivery and wrong items over the course of 5 weeks led to my son going to his first day at school with incomplete uniform.
Rude, non existent customer service from Lindsey. No escalation contact or complaints process.
Items are poor quality with no seams on jumpers, strange sizes 4XS??, size chart doesn't align with the actual items sent!!
No idea how they are surviving but a shambles of a company in every aspect.
Will be working with my PTA to move my sons school away from this supplier fr next year.
Great customer support, particularly to Lindsey who guided me on what to do, even when it was clearly my mistake, as well as quick delivery, very impressed.
Fantastic customer service. Sent 3 separate returns and Royal Mail did their best to cause chaos by delivering to this company only once per week in one enormous batch. Lyndsey was so helpful in locating the returns, communicating with warehouse and issuing refunds really quickly. Excellent communication too, I knew almost real time what the status was on my parcels / refunds.
Bad quality blazer bobbly buttons missing after 3 months, colours refused to take it back. Retires are awful and you have to pay. Very smelly jumpers poor quality.
Overpriced for standard items eg plain white polo and school shirts. Jumper and skirt material is heavy and impractical for young children who need to get changed on their own during the school week.
I've complained previously the lack of diversity in their imagery and was told that updating this had been delayed due to the pandemic. Sadly, although the pictures have been revised, it is still not at all inclusive. This is disappointing when school uniform is intended to unite pupils.
Unfortunately, there is no alternative provider for my childrens' uniforms though amazingly, supermarket value pack polo shirts look exactly the same and have been accepted by the school for the last 4.5 years
Disappointing and poor quality uniform at high prices. The delivery charges are steep and returns process is unhelpful and also costly, even if you just want to swap to a different size. Such a shame, as buying the uniform for the school they love should be a pleasure!
This company is the worst.
1. The school jumpers smell like fish, they report it’s from manufacturing using rainwater from the roof, the replacements sent out (after threatening legal proceedings) still smell.
2. Buttons fell off the summer dress after one wear! The dress is thin and poor quality
3. They came to school to measure the children, I ordered the advised sizes and they arrived all too big. Meaning I had to pay their ludicrous postage costs for returns and new uniform.
4. An email was sent detailing the issues and they did not reply at all. Awful customer service
5. The school tie has all the stitching coming undone.
The clothes are not fit for purpose, they have NO customer service and are accusing the parents of being”the only one with issues” but everyone that has bought new uniform from this company have had issues.
This review is for school colours direct specifically for Helen.
Horrible customer service. Rude and arrogant staff.cowboy company. Make money by sending out wrong sizes and blame customer. Sent 47in length trousers (adult size) for my 6 year old. Failed to send me a replacement and wanted me to place a new order. Schools stay away.
This company has a monopoly on my children’s school and the prices are outrageous -they charge £7.80 for delivery of a single item ! And then will not exchange ( which is regularly needed given the complete inacccuracy of their size guide ) so you have to return the item at your own expense and pay another £7.80 for another delivery. The times themselves are poor quality and very expensive - if I could avoid I most certainly would !
I ordered a school uniform hoodie for my daughter a month ago and paid. 1 month later still haven't got the hoodie and haven't heard anything from the company. Virtually no customer service, no phone number to call, just email address, that they completely ignore. Companies like that shouldn't be allowed to work with schools as they are simply unable to provide the service. Before that I ordered a tie and it took them 2 weeks to arrive. What normal business takes 2 weeks to deliver a tie?? Amateurs
Unfortunately I had to buy my school uniform from the School Colours direct. I wish I could add some screenshots with their rude replies I got when I contacted them.
1. Price. Very expensive. For example, a usual shirt will cost £11 but the same one on the high street just without logo I can buy for £1 or even 2 for £1.75
2. Size. Nothing fits my child. The size is too huge. I have bought a size for a 4-5 years old. I was very careful and used their size guide. A huge PE shirt came. I have measured it and it was 90 cm wide - this size is for a 16 year old child but definitely not for someone who starts reception. I made a picture of this shirt and sent to them but received just awful rude answer.
3. Quality. After one week of wearing their expensive pullover it looks like it has been worn by multiple children over at least few years.
And there is nothing I can do. My child is forced to wear it. Cannot express how disappointed I am.
