Our guides were excellent. The river was a bit low when we went but we still had a blast. We laughed, we screamed, and laughed some more. They take you on a 40 min drive to the river entry, stopping first at a little market that sells fruit and souvenirs. They instructed us on what to do and how and then we were in the rapids. We had Jason the "Water Sloth" as our raft guide. He expertly took us through the rapids and was so fun to have as our guide. He pointed out wildlife and different intersting trees. We also made a stop to eat some delicious fruit they cut up from the market. We were thoroughly soaked and exhausted by the end of the excuraion, but would totally do it again in a heartbeat.

Anyone staying near La Fortuna should book their class ii/iii rafting with these guys. They were very organized, safe and professional - and best of all, they were fun. River guides Imon, Jason, and Brian gave us the perfect experience of excellent food, rafting excitement, and wildlife knowledge (pointing out sloths, iguanas, and birds).
