Shoes were bought as a gift in the wrong size . Exchange process is ridiculous and completely unethical. It was already confusing that we have to pay for a shipping label , no problem , paid ! Then there was a price difference made the next day and they requested $31 dollars . Not so much a gift anymore if we were ending up paying the exact discount amount the person that gifted us the same price … customer service was no help at all . So we got a refund but out $11.00 for the shipping label . Money hungry company .

Ordered a pair of £60 shoes from this company for my partner. He'd always worn lakai when he was young and did a lot of Skateboarding and said they were the best shoes he'd ever had.
So I decided to buy him a pair.
The shoes arrived the next day in a box which looked like it had been stamped on repeatedly.
As I was giving this as a gift I decided to contact lakai and showed them the pictures.
Got an email back from them wiping their hands of the issue and pointed me in the direction of the courier company, stating it was there issue. Lakai had my money so was no longer interested.
I contacted the courier company who told me to get in touch with Lakai as they would have to sort it.

So now I'm left with a gift which looks second hand. Very very dissapointing.
I'd definitely advise avoiding this site and shopping with another stockist if you need Lakai. I certainly will be in the future.
