Landerconsulting Reviews

Kate was brilliant to work with when I was looking to redraft my CV earlier this year - very professional and insightful and the final result more than exceeded my expectations. The whole process was seamless from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Kate Lander is the real deal when it comes to career development. Whether you're just starting out or making a big change, her support is practical, personal, and seriously effective.

Her sessions cover everything - from standout CVs and LinkedIn tips to interview prep and long-term career planning. She doesn’t just help you land a job - she helps you build a direction that actually fits you.

Kate’s approachable, insightful, and genuinely cares about helping people succeed. Can’t recommend her enough!

Working within Careers in FE education organising lots of work-related activities for my students I have noticed a change with industry in the last 12 months where they have been keen for young people to connect/follow with them on LinkedIn, which led me to have the idea of a LinkedIn session for our students. Kate was recommended to me from an external speaker as the LinkedIn Guru to go to, and they were not wrong!
From our first virtual meeting, to email correspondence before the event, to the on-the-day LinkedIn Masterclass, Kate was fantastic. She has such infectious enthusiasm and around 150 16-18 year olds for a nearly 2 hour session is a tough crowd, but that enthusiasm and passion with which Kate shared her vast knowledge, kept the students engaged throughout. All attendees, including staff left the session with a much greater understanding of how to use the platform. Students were given the insight of seeing themselves as a brand, discussing their elevator pitch, thinking about their audience and networking circle, becoming visible on LinkedIn and using AI prompts effectively to help build their profiles.
Everything I had wanted the session to be, Kate had taken it on ten-fold! An absolute star in her field!

I thought i was good with my CV, Kate was better! I loved the process. It helped to pull all my experience together in a cohesive way. Kate's tips for improving the style and content were amazing. Really appreciate it. She made a difficult time a little bit easier.

Kate is easy to communicate with and her advice is direct and relevant to the current job market. It was a pleasure to use her CV writing service and allowed me to focus my skills and sell my experience to future employees.

I attended Kate's 'Essential Steps to Successful Personal Branding & Career Enhancement' webinar and found it beyond helpful. Kate was more than happy to answer questions, suggest and encourage. She delivered the presentation in an engaging, relatable format that really solidified the advice, suggestions and confidence she was giving; as a graduate in my field looking to find my way in the industry, this was invaluable.

I attended Kate's course 'Essential steps to successful branding and career enhancement' over an afternoon. She provided invaluable advice, coaching and tips and kept us all engaged during the session. I was really impressed by the content but above all Kate's passion and enthusiasm for training people, this made the session very inspiring. I will definitely be implementing these new tools to find my next role!

A quality personal service with full understanding of what requirements were and end product was immediately successful.

I joined Kate's "7 Steps to Self-Promotion" webinar coaching series in late April / early May 2020 while furloughed from my L&D role. I'm a big believer in taking every opportunity possible for professional development and each of the sessions provided incredible value and insights to help improve my personal brand. Kate is a goldmine of knowledge and advice, and incredibly generous with her time and guidance. Whether you are a newcomer to the concept of self-promotion or a seasoned veteran, "7 Steps to Self-Promotion" has something for you.

I signed up for the ‘7 Steps to Successful Self Promotion’ programme with Kate, out of curiosity to see what tips I could pick up to help with my job search. Kate was simply brilliant ... not only is she a very experienced career coach, but with her sales background as well, she really knows how to support individuals in promoting themselves in the job market. She is very down to earth, authentic extremely friendly helpful and likeable. Following this programme, I have refined my CV and LinkedIn profile, and feel I’m in a better position to pick myself for high impact. I would have no hesitation in recommending her services.

Kate has been very helpful in getting my cv and LinkedIn profile in shape. It is good to have someone of her experience have a good look over my background and help me to present myself well. I also attended her webinar series which was excellent. So the highest recommendation from me.

I can personally say that Katie was expectional in helping me out with editing my CV, Cover Letter and Linkedin account.

Katie is professional, and a lovely person and have had the pleasure of working with. At Brown Bag Films in Manchester.
She has also been a great training consultant and introduced the Learning and Development Program. This has helped me to be partnered with a mentor in 2D Character Rigging. From this, I have now recieved a position as a 2D Character Rigger at another studio, during the Covid 19 pandemic.

I would personally like to thank Katie for her support and guidance and would heartly recommend her. She is a absolute pleasure to have worked with.

I was very miserable in my field of work and had been searching for answers and a solution for years. I found Kate on LinkedIn and she brought so much light, clarity, encouragement and confidence to me. Now I’m undergoing the vital changes to my career and to my life that I’ve longed for. I’m so grateful for Kate’s guidance and insight. Not sure I would have made it here without her!

I contacted Kate because I am soon to graduate from university and looking for employment within a new industry, my CV and cover letter were outdated and needed a serious make-over. I was extremely impressed with Kates professionalism and attention to detail! We had two very in-depth phone conversations before she started to ensure she had all the information she needed, throughout the whole process she would touch base every few days and send me draft versions allowing for any changes (however, no changes were needed - it was brilliant!). I would highly recommend Kate and her services to anyone looking for career advice or updating their CV/cover letter/LinkedIn bio.

Comprehensive cv cover letter service. I thoroughly recommend Kate to anyone looking to update their cv, covering letter or LinkedIn profile. Kate really excelled at identifying my skills and competencies, and getting them down on the paper, but her service provided me with much more than just that. Working with Kate helped me identify who I am as a professional and what I have to offer future employers and enabled me to build a narrative around that. She has given me the confidence to communicate that effectively in pursuing new career opportunities.

Kate was really helpful in improving my resume. She is very good at rephrasing sentences. She listened well and captured all my strengths appropriately. She definitely made my resume a lot stronger and I am a lot of more confident with my job applications.

Kate is fantastic. She is a great communicator and has a gift with words that results in a great 'turn of phrase'. I used Kate to help with my CV and covering letter and I was super happy with the result. She turned it around quickly to work with my timeframes and she was very knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of the job hunt process not just CV writing.

From the moment I first engaged with Kate I instantly felt I was 'in good hands'. Kate's knowledge, expertise and advice is extensive and has assisted me extremely well in preparing for my next career move. Would absolutely recommend for all things associated with CV's, business profiles and interview preparation.
