Very unhelpful customer service,found them to be rude. They took payment of £850 then 2 days later told me they didn't have a surveyor in my area, so refunded me saying it would take 5 working days. Took 4 days to be refunded. Don't use
If you could give zero stars I would have. Told me a day after the survey was meant to have been completed that 'the surveyor no longer had availability'. Absolutely the worst surveying company I have ever used. Steer clear and use a local company rather than one that engages other companies to find a surveyor.
Report was not really detailed or high quality. Don't expect any picture on the report. Only two lines

What an amazing company. Ashley did our survey. Turned up on time, was dressed very professionally. It was lovely to see he had a young work experience person with him. He was very thorough and the survey was produced very promptly. Having the survey is the best money we have spent. It's answered a lot of questions and a big shout out to Kieran and Genette who have never failed to answer emails and been very professional and welcoming on the end of the phone. Will definitely use again and can't recommend them enough. Thank you Landmark surveys.
Recently had a survey done by this company which didnt turn out well. They are now known as gatewaysurveyors just so people know.
The survey came back with no red flags, everything seemed in order. After moving in and the rain started all of my roofs started leaking. The surveyor failed to spot building defects with the roof which has led to thousands of pounds in repair costs for me shortly after moving in. A roofer spotted these defects immediately, after it was explained to me the defects were quite obvious so why the surveyor didnt spot them I dont know.
So many problems.
I had to repeatedly chase Landmark. The report was late -and probably would not have even been sent, had we not continued to chase.
There were multiple inaccuracies in the report.
Action points were unclear and/or impossible.
The surveyor never responded to any questions or queries.
It’s just more stress in an already stressful process. Money down the drain.
