Artemis 2 actually completed it's entire mission faster that these guys take to ship anything! Instructions within kit are supposed to include blanking grommets. When I emailed asking where they where I got told " people just use their old ones ". Interested in your money thats it! I'll try to avoid in the future 👍

Hi Ross, thanks for taking the time to review our business. Somewhat unfairly. Technically they aren’t actually blanking grommets, they are a small grommet that requires drilling a hole in the seat box. We removed them from the kit, simply because we found people didn’t want to drill holes in the seat box and with a larger grommet nearby that can be drilled out without damaging the seat box, we decided it wasn’t necessary to have the extra part and reduced the price accordingly.

I think actually you were somewhat disappointed with the shipping time. We advertise a shipping time of 3-5 working days. Where applicable if a customer is in more of a rush we can rush it though for them and charge more, this is standard practice, in any online business, you purchased standard shipping and never advised you were in a rush to get this product. It was ordered on the 13th and received on the 20th, within the 5 day shipping timeframe advertised in our shipping policy. There is no insinuation at all, that we simply take your money and run, we responded to two chats instantly and would be happy to support by sending some grommets if you would have been happy to drill your seat box… sadly I’m not entirely sure what we as a company have done wrong here…

This order has now been refunded in full, with no parts being returned, we have orders topping out at £1000 for the tracking systems we sell, and would not want a bad review against our name for a £50 one off order.

Where is my product?

I recently bought a product from LRD which I'd forgotten about because it's taken so long. I received an email saying I should have received my product which I haven't, emailed them twice saying so. This morning I received an email asking me to leave a review. I won't be buying again.

Recently purchased a LRD Tracker

Recently purchased LRD Tracker for my Defender 90. Excellent value for money and peace of mind - it’s an added level of security. Delivered in plenty of time for it to be fitted. Was kept informed throughout all the stages of delivery and fitting.
Extremely helpful with any queries about how to use the product.
I would highly recommend the LRD tracker and the other security products they have.

Really poor customer service

This company seems to have really gone down hill , used a couple of times before with no problem. This time ordered a product on the 24th of November and at the time of ordering it was supposed to be a 5/7 day dispatch time. By the 6th of December had heard nothing so sent an email with no response. Went to the online chat to be told it was out of stock with the supplier (would have nice to be informed) they where talking to them the next day and would update me. Now the 16th of December 2 more emails sent with no reply and they don’t even answer the online chat although it states they reply within 1 minute. Next step will need to go through PayPal. I understand products can be delayed in the current climate but there is no excuse for such poor communication.

Will provided excellent service and also professional advice during my recent Trackstar purchase. The installation was carried out on time and with the absolute minimum of fuss, and I have no hesitation at all in recommending him and LRD Security wholeheartedly. I shall definitely remain a customer for all things security related.

Defender security products

Will has gone out of his way to supply all the top quality security items I needed for my Defender. Prompt replies to emails regarding supplies and delivery dates. I found a company here who still operates a customer care policy which is rare these days and especially through these tough times for small businesses. Would have no hesitation in recommending LRD Security.

Superb and great to deal with, nothing it too much trouble

I've dealt with LRD on a number of occasions now and having spent £1,000's with them, I would have no hesitation in doing so in the future. Will and the team have been excellent throughout the sales process and have given top-notch telephone and email support with all items, even across the weekends. Many thanks folks, you're running a great setup and I look forward to buying from you again in the future.

I got great help and advice!…

I needed some advice to check that the ignition inhibit loom would work with my Defender before I placed my order and I got great information with tip on how to fit it.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! Ordered a product that wasn't suitable so returned promptly to the address outlined on the website for returns. Turns out the website address was incorrect and Will replied saying "the product will get lost". After numerous emails and a few sporadic unhelpful replies, I had to resolve through Paypal resolution centre who repaid me in full! A bit of courtesy would have gone a long way!

I am sorry you have felt the need to write a negative review about us.

Looking back through the timeline of events, we offered a refund on safe arrival of the goods. When a returns process was requested we replied within 4 hours. Bearing in mind we deal with over 300 orders a month we have to have a returns process in place. We admit there was a frustrating email from LRD once you had confirmed that you had sent to an old address, for which we apologise. We subsequently always offered a full refund despite not receiving the goods as we appreciate that we had the wrong address on a part of the site, a clerical error on our part. When we requested tracking details all we got was an email worded by the customer saying someone had signed for it. No proof and no tracking details.

We also confirmed that we couldn't process the refund through the site, which is how we process them, in order for the accounts to match up, as you had started a paypal claim. So we advised that this now needed to run its course. The end result, I think we missed one of your emails, but you received your refund in full, and we have a bad review despite always offering a full refund and we also have no product in our hands to resell.

I’m not sure what to say to this review, every email was responded to, in a timely manner, shipping times are outlined on the website, so the customer was well aware of shipping times prior to placing the order. In fact when he emailed at 10pm on a Sunday night when the order was placed he had a response within an hour advising that it would be shipped on Wednesday, well within the shipping guidelines (we aim for next day, but in some particular cars this can be up to 3-5 days) every email to LRD security was rude, every time, I responded with information, or that I would get the information when I could, and more importantly got that information to the customer. A replacement was sent despite not having the original returned. A PayPal claim was raised before I had a chance to respond, subsequently that PayPal claim hasn’t been closed down as requested so LRD security will be out of pocket for the product and two lots of shipping. As such we feel it is incredibly unfair to try and vent some form of anger when in fact LRDSecurity did all we could as a company to get the item to the customer, and in fact get the second item to the customer at our expense. Please, when using these platforms try not to vent your anger at the wrong company...

When I called to discuss my potential order the sales team were extremely helpful and more than happy to take the time to answer any questions I had.

Once I had placed my order I received such a polite email thanking me for my purchase which was so lovely.

Discovery 2 security

I enquired about suitable devices for my Discovery and Will advised me on what he thought the best item for a self fit due to my Location. Not got round to fitting yet, but I am sure once fitted it will give me peace of mind when I park up somewhere and not relying on the manufacturers devices alone.
