Language Link International is a family-run company that arranges immersive stays in the UK for Spanish students aged roughly 11 to 17 with the goal of learning English. Each student lives with a carefully chosen British host family, attends a local school alongside their host child and spends everyday life speaking English immersed with other British students. We are not an agency working from a database. Every family on our books has been visited, interviewed and checked in person, and we know them by name. We match each student to a host family by hand, taking into account hobbies, interests, personality, age and the needs the family tells us about. Before anything is confirmed, we speak with the parents directly, either in person during our yearly visits to Spain or by video call, so they can ask every question they have and meet the people who will be looking after their child. Safety and happiness come first. Our host families are DBS checked, we stay in contact with students and families throughout the stay, and parents can reach us at any time. Escorted airport transfers are included in the programme so your child arrives in the UK safely. We have been welcoming Spanish students into British homes for many years, and many of our families repeat the programme and even come back with a second or third child. Some of our former students are now adults who still keep in touch with their host families.
