What a lovely (and speedy) experience we’ve had with Lansdown! As first time buyers, we were very new to the mortgage application process, but Tom put us at ease and answered any questions. I can't recommend my Mortgage Broker Tom Dean highly enough.

Being first-time buyers, my partner and I came into this experience completely blind and with no idea of where to start with the process of taking out a mortgage, organising solicitors or any of the other financial elements of purchasing a house. We have recently been using Lansdown Financial Services to purchase our first house. We had been told that Tom specifically was fantastic and we were not disappointed! Being a first time buyer is such a minefield, and solicitors/estate agents and so on can be a nightmare to deal with. Tom, Rhianna and the team have been a breath of fresh air, always being fast, efficient and clear in everything they do. For once in this process, it’s felt like they really do have our best interests at heart and see us as people and not just a way to get commission. The fact the service has been free from our point of view is just the icing on the cake.
We will definitely use Lansdown Financial Services if we ever move again in the future - I cannot imagine looking anywhere else after the fantastic experience we have had.

For me, the most important aspect of any service broker is the ability to explain your options clearly and, once a decision is made, clarify the reasoning behind it.

This is exactly why lansdown are such a good choice. Everyone (particularly Tom Dean) I’ve spoken to there has taken the time to explain every step of the process thoroughly and without presuming any prior knowledge on my part.

They have also worked quickly and conscientiously. I highly reccomend them.

The financial adviser was interested in me and showed understanding, consideration and flexibility in her approach. She was very helpful and secured the best I could achieve currently.
