They disappoint and under deliver
I have been extremely disappointed by Laser Clinics Charlestown, their booking, communication and overall manner are lacking. Over multiple appointments the clinician has either been sick (which is totally understandable) and the receptionist claims to have left a message with me with no follow up (I don't have message bank) and once I was told while waiting for my appointment, the machine is 'broken', this happened twice and my preferred clinician isn't in for the appointment I booked directly with her 6 weeks ago. The rather defensive receptionist told me 'I don't think so' when I said I made the booking directly with my clinician. I feel like they over book and under deliver. They seem to go through a lot of staff which further adds to the inconsistent approach to customer service. I have spent thousands in this store as they are the only location that offers RF. Being in the beauty industry is about building trust and relationships with valued clients who usually form pleasant relationships with staff and clinicians, sadly an area that Charlestown does not seem to apprentice or understand.
Disappointed in recent customer service/ staff knowledge
Disappointed at the recent handling of bookings in two clinics. Staff members don't seem to have a consistent understanding on whether they can transfer deposits between clinics, or offer refunds via phone. Staff had been suddenly sick and I had to leave my 6.10pm appointment, let down again. It seems there is a lack of maturity and training, which detracts from the overall professional experience. When my preferred nurse left the clinic, I received messy, inconsistent handling over a number of weeks. They could do much better.

For over I’ve 10yrs now I’ve been visiting various laser clinics. But predominantly just the two most local to me.
I’ve always found the staff lovely; welcoming, friendly, gentle & knowledgeable.
It’s frustrated me that they lost my “credits” but i understand these things happen when new ownership takes over.
I was saddened that when I was running late one day “the injector” RN was very curt to me. I had tried to call the clinic for 20 odd minutes prior to my appointment, to courteously advise them I’d be a couple of minutes late, 5 maximum, but the call kept going straight to voicemail.
When I arrived I went to explain this to “the injector”, but she snapped over the top of me.
I have never actually been there when I haven’t had to wait for between 3 - 15 minutes.
I let her settle then explained what had happened. She tried to pull her professional face together and chat to me in a more friendly manner but it was uncomfortably fake, and the damage had been done.
Sad to say, that I had a terrible outcome from her cosmetic treatment that day. I don’t believe she used the full amount.
She’s done this twice now & I'm beginning to suspect the product is being set aside, stockpiling ??
I have now changed where I seek these services from as a result of this injectors attitude.
(Please be known this wasn’t just one occasion where she was rude to me, and for no reason).
