This appointment was a follow-up after Bi lateral lasik surgery to both eyes, the team are amazing and attention to detail is excellent. Rakesh is the most amazing surgeon giving complete confidence throughout the procedure. I have a further review in November for any further adjustments I may need.

Following lens replacement in January 2023, I visited Laservision in early 2025 because I had an 'expected' slight change in my vision. It was easy to get an appointment and within 10 minutes, Rakesh had sorted out my vision again.

There are always such misgivings about having anything done to your eyes but the treatment at Laservision is exemplary - I'd revisit in a heartbeat!

I was referred to Laser Vision roughly 3 years ago by another doctor.

Firstly I want to say that Dr Rakesh and his team have been fantastic with me from start to finish.

Initially I had complications develop after having laser eye surgery from another clinic back in 2017. Star bursts, glare, halos - you name it.

My vision regressed and I needed glasses again, however we discovered I also developed cataracts - the surgery for this might have been too risky. After seeing Dr Rakesh within these 3 years we came to a good compromise that would not effect my vision negatively as lasik was out the question again.

I had ICL surgery - from start to finish it was an incredibly seamless surgery in which I experienced very little discomfort. Healing was a little rough as I was light sensitive for a few days. I was given emergency contact number if anything went wrong while I healed but thankfully all went smoothly!

You have restored my vision in a way in which I did not think was possible after the complications I experienced from the previous clinic I went to.

Thank you Dr Rakesh and team for everything you have done for me. I really hope you see and read this. I am thankful from the bottom of my heart with how patient you were with me and how we came to a good conclusion!

The team at Laservision are first class. From my initial enquiry through to my YAG laser vitreolysis treatment, I was treated with compassion and care. I was given all the information I needed to decide whether to go ahead and at no stage did I feel pressured into having the laser treatment. 3 weeks on from laser vitreolysis on my right eye, the large floater causing me considerable distress has gone and I am left with a less intrusive veil that may yet improve more over time. Symptoms have improved by around 85%. Dr Rakesh was the surgeon who treated me and he was very caring, knowledgeable and understanding. I highly recommend Laservision.

The follow up appointment today with Geeta Pramanik and Mike Tappin was very extensive. They both gave my eyes a thorough examination and their comments gave me confidence that everything was progressing well.

The staff were friendly and meticulous. The staff gave clear medical advice.

I have visited the clinic since the end of 2022, and had three issues treated by Rakesh Jayaswal. Cataract in both eyes, posterior capsule opacification, and severe floaters blurring my vision.
3.5 years later I have finished treatments and am so grateful for the help of the team at LaserVision.
The clinic in Cosham is easy to access with parking, it is bright with free refreshments on tap, comfortable seats to wait with air conditioning.

I recently underwent laser eye surgery with Mr Tappin and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience from the initial consultation through to the procedure and aftercare.

Mr Tappin took time to thoroughly explain every step of my treatment. The procedure itself was quick and pain free and Mr Tappin’s professionalism and care set my mind at ease throughout the procedure.

I'm relatively young so when the sight in my right eye began to become slightly less clear i went straight to the opticians.

Thankfully for me i was referred on to Dr Tappin for a consultation. I imagine like many people would be i was nervous about what was wrong and what would be needed in order to put it right.

I needn't have worried.

Dr Tappin and Geeta were the most professional and personable team i could have hoped to find. They quickly identified the problem I had (a cataract) through a broad set of tests. They also were incredibly reassuring about what could be done providing me with a list of options and really listening to my thoughts and concerns to make the whole experience as good as it could be.

On the day of the operation i met Dr Tappin who, in his confident and authoritative yet friendly style provided me with a complete re-briefing before the operation.

Communication throughout, both pre and post operation, was exceptionally strong and i felt clear at all stages.

Post operation checks were carried out by Geeta who was very thorough and considerate while taking the time to answer any questions.

In summary an operation on your eye can be fraught with fears. I couldn't recommend Dr Tappin and Geeta more highly.

From my first consultation to my discharge appointment the service that I have received has been absolutely brilliant.
Rakesh is polite, extremely knowledgeable and very calm and caring in his manner. All his team are very reassuring and nothing is ever too much trouble. Truly lovely people.

From my original appointment with Mr Mike Tappin and his ophthalmic assistant, Geeta, I felt confident that there would be a successful outcome to having replacement lenses surgery. One week after my surgery, to quote Mr Tappin “I have excellent results with good vision for near and distance”. I tried to contact the clinic nobody answered the phone in the last week which is unacceptable.
Finally someone answered to my emails but didn't know anything about the "prices" between the clinics... it's weird but are different...how is possible?
