Me and my boyfriend bought a piece online for our holiday house. It just arrived yesterday and it looks amazing. Buying online was easy and the personnel was very kind, welcoming and available.
I highly recommend Latitudini Mobili for quality Asian antique furniture. Mr. Florio and his lovely wife are genuinely kind and honest. They welcomed and served us as if we were family and friends. They have a profound knowledge of and passion for their work. Our daughter used to live in New York, thus I would visit her often and help her furnish her apt. I was very impressed with the book Chinese Country Antiques: Vernacular Furniture and Accessories, C. 1780-1920 by Andrea and Lynde McCormick. Thus, I went to their store and showroom several times. We became friends and I bought several several pieces from them for our daughter since they had beautiful items. . Lynde even came to our daughter's apt. to restore a 1700's Chinese cabinet I bought from them more than a year ago. Unfortunately, they left the business a few years ago. However, when my husband and I met Florio and his wife, we had a sensation that we knew them already. I told them they reminded us of Andrea and Lynde. To our surprise, they said they were inspired by their book thus started this business. What a coincidence! I even emailed Andrea to ask her opinion about some of the furniture we were thinking of purchasing from Latitudini Mobili and she said they were very beautiful and she loved them. Now we found our Italian Andrea and Lynde in Milan where our daughter lives at present.
