While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEIR 'FREE SAMPLE' HOOK TO ROB YOU BLIND

Lavelier initiated contact under the pretext of offering a free sample. This interaction rapidly escalated into an unsolicited “demonstration” and an extended sales
pitch. Throughout the encounter, I made multiple attempts to decline. These attempts were disregarded, and the staff continued to apply pressure. Lavelier used the following tactics, each of which materially impaired my ability to
provide informed consent:
- Isolation and secrecy: I was repeatedly instructed not to disclose the “offer” to
anyone, including my spouse.
- Discouragement of independent decisionmaking: I was implicitly and explicitly
discouraged from stepping away, pausing the interaction, or contacting anyone for
advice.
- False urgency and exclusivity: The merchant represented the offer as a limited,
confidential opportunity.
- Attempted multicard processing: I was encouraged to divide the transaction across
multiple credit cards.
- Overwhelming staff presence: Multiple employees surrounded and engaged me
simultaneously, making it difficult to decline or exit the situation. They used mental
coercion and shame tactics, even encouraging me to deceive my husband rather than
contact him. Asking probing questions about what my husband did for a living and
confirming that I am visiting alone from another state. Very invasive and all with the goal
of psychological manipulation.
Material Misrepresentations Regarding the Product
During the sales presentation, Lavelier made several material misrepresentations
about the nature and classification of the product. I was told that the device was
“medicalgrade” and that the purchase would qualify as a taxdeductible medical
expense. Subsequent independent research confirms that neither statement is true. The
product is not medicalgrade, does not qualify as a medical device for tax purposes, and
is widely associated with consumer complaints describing identical highpressure sales
tactics and devices that fail within a short period of time. These misrepresentations
materially influenced the transaction and prevented me from making an informed
decision.
In the end I forked over 5200 dollars for garbage to get out of that enviroment. Lavelier refuses all returns, disregarding the FCC 72 hrs 'cool off' law for big ticket items and high pressure tactics. I have a dispute filed with my credit card. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM.
