Excellent Lavner Tech Camp at Davidson College

We were just tourists in the USA, and we wanted to attend the Lavner 3D printing and modeling camp at Davidson College this summer. Our daughter was very happy and productive during camp; we hope that we will try another technology camp with Lavner next year.

Best Camp in Miami

This has by far been the best camp my child has ever attended. Even if hiccups happen, the staff has handled them very effectively.
The highlight for this week (July 2025), besides the learning experience, was how accommodating Maria (Miami Camp Director) was with Luca and his “special requests! Yes, 6year olds can be demanding! ☺️). Our family truly appreciates it.

Perfect camp for tech-lover kiddos

My son had an amazing time at this tech summer camp! He learned how to make Minecraft YouTube videos and even got to design 3D prints for his Roblox and Minecraft worlds—he was so proud to show us everything he created. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but truly cared about the kids and made sure everyone had a great time. He also made new friends who are just as passionate about gaming and creating as he is. Such a fun and inspiring experience—highly recommend for any young tech-lover!

Amazing Experience

We couldn’t be more thrilled with our son's experience at Lavner STEM Camp at NYU this summer! From the very first day, the staff was welcoming, organized, and enthusiastic.
The curriculum was great — a perfect blend of education and fun. Our son enrolled in coding and AI robotics.
The instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly passionate about STEM education.
We highly recommend Lavner STEM Camp at NYU to any family looking to give their child a high-quality, memorable, and fun summer experience in science and technology. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Glorified babysitter and complete waste of money

My teen daughter is attending the CGI camp at Vanderbilt and she is teaching the teacher how to do the most basic functions in the Blender program. I am pulling her from the camp because I refuse to waste her time and my gas driving her to Nashville to learn nothing. The director had me call a 888 number and they refuse to refund us for the days she will not be attending.

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to the entire team behind the Summer Camp. My kids had the most wonderful time, and honestly, as a parent, there’s nothing better than seeing your children come home happy, excited, and full of stories every single day.
To all the teachers, coordinators, and everyone who worked behind the scenes — thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made this summer truly special, and we’re so grateful for the beautiful memories you’ve helped create. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!

A great time

A great time! My son loved the Roblox camp. He also made a new friend which was a great bonus. The experience was top notch from check in to lunch to the extended care. A bit pricey, but well worth the money spent! I would absolutely do it again and I can say for sure that another camp is in his future for next summer. Thank you!

Terrific experience

My showed up at pick-up each day with a huge smile. He loved the Lego Robotics course--the teacher, the team work, the building itself, the "Robotwars" at the end. It kept him--an insatiably curious kid--stimulated all day.

Parents read the fine print we had to try to rebook, but they will not refund and even giving a credit for future is very difficult from this organization. Please read the fine print before signing up for this summer program. Otherwise you will lose $1000 in the blink of an eye

Child Safety Not a Priority

My 7 year old is attending Lavner NYU and we just had a terrifying experience. Lavner is not the best on kid safety. When bad things happen to your child, they look to cover themselves instead of resolving the actual safety issues. They tried to push me off to an 888 number instead of addressing the major safety issue.

My son was in the robotics camp and received an eye injury. Another child dropped their metal robot on his head. If the injury had been a few centimeters higher, it would have taken out his eye. I asked to see the space so I can judge how safe it is and they refused. I asked to go with a staff member and with the NYU security guard as their argument was that I could not be in the space with other kids (NOTE: other kids had already left for the day). They had my ID. My son noted that they had 14 kids the previous day and only one instructor. They do not have the staff for certain classes to properly maintain safety. As they are a for-profit, they seem to have little concern about this as long as the money is rolling in. For $900 a week, this is not worth it. I filed a report with NYU as that was the only thing I could do. Save your money and find another camp.

This is by far the best summer camp out there. A lot lf parking, very easy, safe and efficient drop off and pick up. Lunch is best in class. I had to take my son out of a different summer camp last year and i was very scared of this one, but this summer camp is superb. My son had stories every day fr what he learned and was extremely happy and excited every week. Outstanding place to have your kid during the summer.

Not at all what this is advertised to be. Very disappointing. Kids dont learn much. Computers not working, teachers scrambling, kids eat lunch outside in the heat, we have to pay to park for drop off and pick up. Mediocre lessons. Not worth the price. No refunds as they cannot stand by their product

Minecraft and YouTube Camps

I'm thrilled for my son to participate in Lavner Camps this summer! They offer amazing camp programs, and their website was easy to navigate for locations, schedules, and details of all their offerings. He chose Minecraft 3D Innovation and Design, Minecraft Channel for YouTube®, and YouTube® Video Production.
