I ordered Samsung Hub Fridge it wasnt in stock so I choose another Samsung Hub yet they delivered a Plumbed LG fridge I never agreed at all to this fridge as I dont want a plumbed LG I wanted what I paid for yet they are telling me I should be happy No I aint happy at all. Last order il ever have with Layaway as I will never know b if I get what I paid for. Shame on you Layaway.

Very disappointed with Layaway AU.

Very disappointed with Layaway AU.

I have been waiting for a refund of approximately $423 after my direct debits were ceased. Despite being advised that a retention officer would contact me after the holiday period, it is now 11 January and no contact has been made.

Multiple follow-ups have gone unanswered, and promises of return calls within 24 hours were not honoured. Due to the lack of communication and resolution, I have now lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience with poor communication and failure to resolve a straightforward refund.

Poooooor service

They waited until I the customer asked for tracking information then over 2 weeks goes by and they tell me after they have my full amount they don't have access to my order and they are forcing me to take my refund back after I already bought other stuff to go with the item I ordered

Good concept, average execution

I used LayAwayLand to purchase a few appliances on their layaway plan. The idea is great for people who want to spread payments without credit checks, and I liked being able to manage my payments online. The items I received were genuine and arrived in good condition once the plan was completed.

That said, communication throughout the process was not very consistent. I sent a couple of messages about order updates and didn’t get replies right away. The waiting time between the final payment and delivery was also longer than expected.

In summary, it’s an okay service — not a scam, but not the most responsive either. If they improve customer support and update timelines more often, it could be a much smoother experience.

0% rating never used this company yet my bank account has been set up on a automatic direct debit. They have taken money for no product or explanation why. Also I’ve never signed a contract to allow this to occur. Please be aware as they apparently need no consent to access your bank…. 🤬🤬🤬

Hard to communicate with this company and use PayPal for payment to ensure product guarantee,other wise+ satay away

communication with this company was quite lousy I email them at least 5 times with no response I try calling a dozen times no answer luckily I paid though PayPal I contacted them and the very next day I was sent email confirming my package will ship out three days later I received my item. That will be the last time I make a purchase With this company .

Rip off's they harassed you and when u…

Rip off's they harassed you and when u decide to leave as the harassment they take more than the contract states.. They harass u to add more call at stupid hours even when asked to stop calling they would call over and over. I eventually left loosing out on money they also didn't refund the amount they should have !!
I was meant to get 220 even have emails of the refund amount but yet the refund me $192!! They already kept $250 cancellation fee and still ripped me off !!

you are a disgrace

you are a disgrace. you have no customer service and the phone number you give is totally dysfunctional, no one is ever there to answer your questions. i have called and emailed you dozens of times with no satisfactory outcome on your part. shame on you. after contacting you i finally decided to contact paypal, my situation was resolved in 1 hour. clean up your act, your company has the worst customer service of anyone i have dealt with in the 74 years of my life. the BBB has been contacted, do not do business with this company.

Never again LAD

Brought a LAD 55 inch I paid 1,800 lost the remote and ive been trying to request a remote from them but no go. Don't buy a TV from them, there tvs don't can't work on universal remotes it has to be a LAD remote. And I only had my TV for a year once it was paid off they don't care

Horrible communication

I used them last year and paid out gift cards to buy Christmas with no problem. This year I paid off my order on 11/25/23 and its 12/15/23 and still no gift cards and no response to my emails and I can't reach them by phone. I am guessing I was scammed and will be reaching out to paypal.

Have used layaway for 3 different…

Have used layaway for 3 different products. The first appeared no problem, the second was refurbished item, arrived after a 6 weeks of phones calls chasing the item, and when it did arrive, the screen was scratched right in the middle, not a small scratch several scratches, which for a laptop was quite annoying. I did complain, but as I needed it, I didn't have the time to wait for a replacement. The 3rd item I also had to wait for a over a month for it to arrive. I haven't used these guys since, even though I was continually harnessed with them calling trying to get me to order again. Delivery estimated times are a joke, follow up on complaints also terrible, and I would be weary buying refurbished

Paid off a couch

Paid off a couch ; over $900.. was supposed to ship out the next week; it’s now been almost 2 months and no response to my emails; no shipping confirmation; nothing… where is my couch? Why has no one responded to my emails? If your not sending it ; then Atleast refund my money!!!!!!!

This company is a scam!!!!!!!

Absolutely no heart!

Im so upset that i got charged a $174.20 as a close fee 😪 and that fee will still be applied even for exceptional circumstances such as a mine being a natural disaster (losing my home and everything in it) and domestic violence. I've spent the last 3 months in a women's refuge with my 2 children, hence why I could no longer continue my Layaway payments. This is absolutely heartless 💔

I ordered a phone and tv through them there meant to call and make sure ur address is correct before sending the items no one did until the delivery guy got to my old address and realised noone was there so he called to say he had arrived and when informed i no longer live there he said the tv would be taken back to layaway it'
Was 2weeks with no communication to finally I got a reply yesterday saying
Pretty much bad luck I've just lost over $1000 even know 100% the tv got returned

I've found communication isn't very…

I've found communication isn't very great. I've had payments taken out twice from my account both on a Friday but my contract states payments to be made Mondays. They haven't explained why or given me a pre warning. Have emailed them and received an answer of that being I quote " Monday the 9/01/2023 is your next payment. Thank you.
