Lcs I keep getting letters from these people ,I've now asked post man to forward them straight to the bin as he walks past it,I don't engage with them ,don't read there letters nothing ,sent them a prove it letter which I suppose thay are trying to work out what the words me as thay have no clue about anything else,lcs debt solicitors lol ,none of them are solicitors because believe me do you think a real solicitor would work for a debt collection agency ,I always say pursue me straight to court and tell them I wish to attend ,I've also told them I will ask the court to hold a deposit off them incase thay loose,thay haven't responded to a prove it letter but I have proff that the threading letter even using the crown as a threat to pay up is illegal lol ignore them don't engage with them,if these lcs solicitors keep phoning you and you have an andriod phone ,Google has a lovely feature which filters out suspected spam callers ,block unrecognised numbers and block withheld numbers ,a matter of seconds switch on lcs gone,if thay visit your address don't engage with them just shut door in there face,if thay fail to leave just phone the police and report thay are trespassing,don't confirm your name or anything with them ,ignore them thay are scammers with no legal power ,yes thay threaten to take you to court let them ,thay can only take you to smalls claims court just like the original creditor ,make sure if you get any abuse from these people just send a prove it letter but don't sign it as these sort of scammers with photo copy it and then use your signiture on there letter of proff ,look at their logo lcs with a picture of the world beside it thay only opperate in the uk lol,I do chuckle as the picture of the world thay use hadsnt even got a picture of the UK on it lol ,even tho thay only work in the uk,but thay are a company that are allowed to use about 10-15 names for one company,don't give your name or any information,you do not have to give them any information what's so ever not even your name thay arnt police officers or balliffs,if thay knock on your door thay need to confirm their identity soon as thay do shut the door DO NOT ENGAGE with them

Received a phishing e mail claiming a debt to EON energy, (please refer to my review of them) you will not be disappointed. I have placed their e mail in the spam box and fired off seven historic emails disproving their spurious claim. We must stop these fraudsters, there can be only one solution, contact the ombudsman and put these crooks out of business.I asked these fraudsters to reply to me via telephone, 10 days later they dared too,a very rewarding experience, as the opportunistic scammers got more than they bargained for,I informed them I was recording,my schedule of fees,they denied legal obligation but nevertheless when I assured them 'my time costs money' caved in like a sandcastle on the first wave. "Put that in our pipe and smoke it".

Probably legit debt collector - according to "If you do not pay your tax bill" at gov.uk (below), and scamadviser.com.

Can pay on their website and print off a PDF copy.

They are a scam . Do not pay these people. Be careful. I told them I suspect them of being scammers on the phone (after having waited for a long time to get through.) They hung up the phone on me. Will forward to the ombudsman .

I couldn't give a 0 rating as there was no 0 option, Useless website, very hard to contact, they don't call you back, no email address, but the best of it I can prove I do not owe money, they are waisting their time :-)

SSE Selling Personal Data to Scammer Companies
I was working with another company but they transferred SSE. I have always paid my bill but SSE authorized a debt collector company lcsdr.com
Because I have already paid all my bill I confused and try to reach customer service for days and weeks send 3 complaint form to get any clearance.
Finally, I contacted LCSDR and told them I don't have any debt. They removed my name and today I had another letter from a different debt collector company which is threatening me. I hope you all burn in hell. I will change my gas supplier ASAP.

Glad I'm not the only person with these people hounding for money, I first received an email from these a few months ago after I paid my SSE debt, so I phoned the company and told them to stop calling and sending emails the woman responded with 'theres no proof you have paid this debt' baring in mind it was only 60 something but when these people emailed they told me it was £89 rewind to yesterday I've received another 3 emails stating that I haven't paid the money and I need to get into contact asap. I'm fairly young so I don't understand how these people get your information. NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR DETAILS!!! I nearly made the mistake of doing so last time then I searched on Google and found it was a load of ol' bull.

Could copy & paste the majority of reviews also my case replicates the same approach. I have received letter on behalf of Thames Water claiming roughly £500 for supply period I had moved out (2019 - 2020 years). No evidence of supplier charges / bills, no evidence of any rights for the claim. Letter signed by alleged Rebecca Carter, whose credentials missing, totally out of the blue / fake identity. I wonder how's possible they're out there scamming on behalf of EDF, Thames Water et cetera relentless & untouchable??

This disgusting company send letters demanding payments for debts which do not exist! Do not give them any details or money!! It's amazing these types of horrendous companies are allowed to operate.

Got bill for preious tenant at an address lived at over 2 yrs ago and got told by lCS that i lived there for 3 years and that the meters were not pay as you go with scottish power had told them they were prepayment meters got asked for proof and i told them to check with scottish power. Vantia was religiously abusive to me on the phone and then i threatened to kill myself she was not intersted and then rang back a couple of days later only to be told by charlie that it was MY bill whihc it was not and then i threatedned with suicide. At this point i was sectioned for 10 years and have autism. Told both Vanita and charlie this but were not interested. Contacted stuart winifred whom claiam to send me a letters via email and responded over a week and a half no response rnag back on saturday 27/02/21 only to be told it was vanita and at no point did she say it was being dealt with but she then claimed it had been returned to scottish power. No communicitons to say this i had filed a complaint through resolver and tall they do is send a generic message please contact us via ouor web page. ill be getting the press na dmy mental and legal solicitor aware.

Criminals chasing non existant British gas debts, looked into this company and they are clearly non ethical group of scammers scaring the uneducated into paying debts they have no right to pursue, I have reported them to the financial ombudsman this is who can punish these creeps, I urge everyone to report them to the FOS so this criminal behaviour is investigated.

LCS are trying to get paid for debt that you don't owe. Neither to them nor to the company they are "recovering" it for. Just trying to sponge anyone they can reach. Ignore the communication and look online how to deal with such companies in the matter that they can understand. Talking to them on the phone produces zero results.

We passed an EDF Energy bill to our landlord agency to sort out as we did not owe most of the amount on the bill.
The agency never did because they're useless, and soon enough we got LCS letters.
The letter was addressed to MR *my name* despite the fact I'm a woman. They stated we owed the full bill so I called to dispute this. The woman (who was actually nice to talk to and understood what I was saying) who answered told us to send proof of our living period in the form of our tenancy agreement and that they would sort it out with EDF and the agency (who I gave the details for).
I received another letter about my "Final Notice" before advising legal proceedings. I rang up, they lied and said they tried to call and sent 3 letters. They never called me, I only ever called them and they only sent 2 letters, one notification and one final notice. The woman doubled down and said that they did and when I came back with the same thing she then retracted back saying "she wasn't sure what happened then" maybe listen to people in the first place?

The woman offered to log a "expression of dissatisfaction" and when I further complained she said that they can offer a resettlement of £27. I told her that I won't pay any amount to them as I will be contacting EDF myself. It seemed no amount of explaining why we don't owe the full amount and how they were supposed to sort that out got through their heads!

They don't listen, they sound scammy and they are completely and utterly incompetent.

I will be requesting a clearance of my data from LCS as I do not trust them with anything of mine on their system. EDF would be much better off without them, useless company. I better not be receiving any more correspondence from you.

I'd like to give zero stars but can't. I've been getting scam text messages claiming to be from "Scotpower" about an unpaid account. Firstly, all the utility bills for our property are in my husband's name. None of them are anything to do with Scottish Power, energy or anything vaguely Celtic. Now I have a text message from LCSDR demanding payment. Just another phishing expedition. What a bunch of tossers.

Guy turns up at my house, clip board in one and rude tone to his voice, the notice isn't even for me but previous tenants. I sent letters back but the same letters keep coming.so he refuses to identify him self and demands I come to the door and not to speak through the intercom etc keeps asking if I'm home etc of course for safety reasons I refuse to answer keeps barking the same name again and again although I tell him no one by that name lives here and to leave his details so I can deal with them and identifying him later.

Scam. They sent letter behalf of HMRC asking money that owed. I never owed money to HMRC in all my life. I checked with HMRC they said I am not owed. I sent them details and picture of letter. Please contact HMRC immediately and complain about it.

This is my exprience, I don’t know about legitimacy of company. There may be another scammer using this company name. Be cautious. Never make payments before contacting.

Pure scum, constantly harassing me on behalf of eon energy for money I don't even owe them despite me providing proof that I owe nothing. Phoning me early in the morning too and causing me huge distress by threatening me with a default against my name. If you work for this company, you are morally bankrupt and your life is worthless.

This company are a disgrace...........but are legitimate. Verify any letters received by calling HMRC

Like most of you I received a fraudulent claim from LCS wrt. vehicle taxation. My tax is paid and fine, and I agree this must be a scam. To not only review it, I filed a report with Surrey police.
