The price we got for the house. The expenses were quite reasonable, a lot less than other Real estate. Excellent service would highly recommend.

I appreciated that all the staff were female and I was spared the macho Estate Agent culture of every other branch that I dealt with prior to the appointment.
They were very thorough, very responsive and clear with the information. Most of all I felt confident that they were working in my interest - not in the interest of the buyer's capital, which clearly was the strategy of the other EAs that I dealt with.
Leaders would be my first choice for any future property transactions no question.

I am afraid that I view the glowing reports on this page with a very mistrustful eye. It is so easy for a company to create content that accompanies a five star banner to offset the remarks made by customers who feel they have not been treated respectfully. The heartfelt comments are those from people who are dissatisfied and I am one of them. My concern is part of a bigger picture because there is not enough regulation regarding the way property is managed in the UK and the current generation of university students - in this case in Manchester - are easy targets to exploit. My son shared a flat in Manchester with a fellow student. I paid the exorbitant rent every month and despite the pleas for a solution to the lack of hot water in the kitchen (yes he had to wash up with cold water all year - no dishwasher of course) and despite the complaints about the disgusting rampant mould in the bathroom that I bleached a couple of times when I blitzcleaned the bathroom... nothing happened. Nothing was repaired. Nothing was improved. Nothing was checked. I was born a Mancunian and live abroad now. I am horrified at the lack of legislation to protect tenants that allows landlords and agencies like Leaders to bleed vulnerable students and their families without offering a service commensurate with the price of the monthly rent.
A further problem is the wait for the return of the deposit. I have now been waiting for a month and a half for the deposit I paid over a year ago be returned to me. I have just telephoned Leaders and the response was that they are very busy and it will take time because lots of students have finished their academic year. I cannot accept these double standards. When the money was due to Leaders we had to act very quickly - however, when our money is due back to us Leaders can make us wait. My son is embarking on a Masters Degree in France and that money is required to help him get started on his next academic journey. This is beyond disappointing.
TIME HAS NOW LAPSED..... I contacted the customer care address and was told I would get a response before 5th Sept at the most. I am still waiting - Today is Sept 2nd.
Latest update...it is now Sept 6th. We were promised news by Sept 5th. Nothing. So I phoned them today. What was the response? I was told that "Natasha" deals with the property in question. She is having lunch.... So I phoned later because she didn't phone me back as promised. No answer. So I asked my son to call. I thought that perhaps they were not answering because they recognised my number. Lo and behold, they answered my son. He was told that the landlord is ignoring them. This means he holds on to our money and hides. We have also been told he is outside the UK. Furthermore, another set of vulnerable students are now renting the property in question and he has pocketed their deposit. Why do Leaders continue to work with a landlord who is behaving illegally ??? Are their standards so low?
Obviously, this is theft and steps will have to be taken to deal with this.
Students in Manchester are making a mistake if they rent via Leaders.
Please note that my profile photo is the mouldy bathroom that had to be bleached several times.

We moved out of our property 7 months ago.
On Saturday I hear that we may be receiving adjudication due to not paying any fees following our move. We would have been willing to pay the large majority of these. However, every email we were kindly greeted by an automated response, while continuing to receive emails threatening adjudication.
Useless.
Sales Consultant Holly Jackson is terrific. She really goes the extra mile and is very reliable. We had some bad luck with a sale very surprisingly falling through but Holly first tried all she could to save the sale and has paid special attention to my property since my last sale fell through being particularly mindful that I could lose the property I was in the process of purchasing if we don't find another buyer soon. Holly has gone all out with marketing my property and providing me with tailored advice. She always does what she says she will action and always in the timeframe promised. Her advice is getting some good results and I'm hopeful that we will get another sale agreed very soon! Thanks to Holly and Leaders for such fantastic service, I highly recommend this estate agent.
Our experience of Leaders has been excellent from offer accepted to completion. Holly and her colleagues have been professional and responsive.
I would definitely recommend Leaders
Good communication ,responsive to changes in the property market .
We used Leaders as our estate agents for our house sale in Manchester (£280k). The following two people were pivotal in ensuring our house was sold:
Sue Carter (Move Manager) - Sue was very helpful and guided us through the sale process at each step (this was our first time selling a house), she gave us very good updates through emails and chased us promptly if we had any outstanding actions. We had two sales fall through and Sue was very emphatic and worked hard to find the reasons why both sales fell through, and communicated well with the second buyer to keep the sale alive. When we found a third buyer, the process started of smooth however in the week of completion the buyer was not very responsive but Sue chased every few hours all week to ensure the sale was completed by the end of the week.
Megan Farnell (Senior Sales Manager)- Megan was always very professional, clear and informative in her communication. She provided very good advice when we received offers and worked with us to find suitable buyers. She was always approachable and made time for us and worked well as a third party with us and the buyer to ensure a smooth sale. When our sales fell through, Megan was quick to put our house back on the market and find us another buyer, both times we found a buyer within a month. We followed Megan's advice of lowering our price and as a result got two very good offers. Megan also helped the conveyancing process when the communication was less frequent as she had already built up good rapport with the buyer at first.
We want to thank both Megan and Sue for their help throughout the sale process which was made stressful due to two failed sales. They were key in us finally finding a third buyer and selling our house.
as in my comments, property not yet on the market , so too soon to ask, don't want these surveys until task is complete

Sue Carter, especially, and the rest of the Leaders team were really great in communication and oversight on our house purchase. Sue worked sometimes late into the evening to ensure everyone was completing their tasks and she was essentially a project manager for the purchase. She got us over the line when things could easily have slipped by another month, so thanks a lot to all involved, especially Sue.

Firstly, we would like to thank Sue Carter. She was honestly the best Move Manager we could have asked for. She was passionate and cared about us getting to completion just as much as we did, she was friendly, informative, and helpful with any questions we may have had, no matter how small. Really can't thank her enough, i couldn't have done this whole thing without Sue! Also a massive thanks to Sanjeev for the initial phase of viewing the apartment and getting accepted, really appreciate everything you did for us and how you handled things. Top Quality Service!!!! :) Thanks, Lauren & Tom from Lawnhurst.
