HTML tracking code installation does…

HTML tracking code installation does not work and customer service interface does not work either. The result is to walk away from leadfeeder website as a waste of 45 minutes with no knowledge as to whether their lead feeding app is any good. Why is it these companies just blow away solid prospects that would use their services for the lack of good old customer service. Beats me!

I tried LeadFeeder and it was a promising idea but it fell short of my expectations. I then switched to another company called SimplyIntel.com and I that worked really well. They are able to identify the exact person.

I am currently doing a 7 day trial and so far so good!

Support is not good.

Interface is nice. But intetgration to Dynamics CRM is not working and they do nothing to make it work.

I have found 2 errors in the integration between Leadfeeder and Dynamics CRM. I documented the errors. First error I reported about 1 year ago and second issue reported about 1 month ago. None of them are solved and they are not giving any date on when it will be solved.
The leadfeeder visits are being transfered to our CRM, but Leadfeeder is assigning wrong person in the transfer. For that reason the feature is not useable for us. Now, if we change the owner of the parent of the Leadfeeder records in CRM (the Account), the owner is not changed on the leadfeeder entity - making the Leadfeeder entries not visible for the new owner.
They do nothing about these errors.
I cannot recommend this tool as the service is close to non existing.
We will look for alternative tool.

I wish I had read the latest reviews…

UPDATE.
Good news. Our complaint was passed to a manager, who cancelled our account. It is shocking that this happened in the first place, and it wasted lots of time and caused stress in sorting it.

I wish I had read the latest reviews before signing up! I am sure their renewal policy must be against the law.

We received a bill with no warning, and when I queried where the reminder letter was, I received this email: "When you accepted our terms, you accepted the duty as the client to cancel your account before your next billing cycle.

Please see in the link I shared:

"If your subscription is automatically renewable, your subscription to the Service will remain in effect and will be renewed automatically at the end of each subscription period unless you terminate your subscription, or we terminate it."

As mentioned by my colleagues, as the new billing period has started and the invoice has been sent, we are expecting to receive the payment for the sent invoice. As mentioned in our terms, the new billing period starts automatically if the subscription is not being canceled before the new billing starts.

Once we have received the payment, we'll set your subscription to end on 2023-10-15
To make sure you get all value of the year, please book a complimentary free training with our expert here.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Thank you kindly,
Ruthie/Leadfeeder

I question if the T&Cs are still the same as when we signed up.

Bad tool deplorable renewal policy

Leadfeeder is a useless tool and a bad company. If you are considering getting this tool, read on.

First, this tool is nothing great. It delivers company IP information from a tracking cookie. This information isn’t that useful. Marketers..focus on retargeting and remarketing.

There are several tools that have features doing what Leadfeeder does. Hubspot, Zoominfo to name two. Look into.

Regarding contracts. Leadfeeder charges $12k per year. Why anyone would lock into a year for this tool I will never understand.

Leadfeeder’s auto-renewal process is why you should really avoid this tool. You must cancel 30 days prior to the renewal date. I never heard anything from our CS person leading up to this renewal date. They intentionally keep a low profile, hoping you miss this ($12k) renewal date.

But when they need their invoice paid, they emerge from the shadows. Our CS person aggressively hounded users via email and Linkedin to get the invoice paid. When I asked what happens if someone doesn’t pay an invoice after missing renewal date, she said it goes to the “next escalation point” which she admitted was collections.

Our invoice was accidently paid (even after I had canceled subscription on the website). After LF got their money they disappeared again, my CS contact avoiding my emails. All they care about over at Leadfeeder is getting paid.

In conclusion—worthless tool, year contract, shady auto renewal with a collection agency to enforce, awful customer service.
