LEARN.CORP SCAM

LEARN.CORP SCAM
I was scammed recently by these frauders for £.001,by clicking on a link on my iPhone .
I then looked at the Trust Pilot reviews which confirmed my suspicions they were SCAMMERS.I immediately contacted my bank to block any further payments and applied for replacement cards.
When I called the Barclays disputes team today to confirm my request to block ,they confirmed that payment of £49.00 had been declined .
I asked how the SCAMMERS had got my bank details ,to which they asked if I had Apple Pay account .
I have cancelled my Apple Pay account .

£49 taken from my account again!

£49 taken from my account again!
The bank says contact them, it's a Bancok company, but I really don't want to give them my email, but to contact them it's mandatory on the form. Not sure what to do.
I don't know how to cancel the subscription, that I didn't even know I'd made!!

Learn Corp is a SCAM!!

Like everyone else (apart from the presumably the few paid for 5 star ratings on this site) this is just a click bait scam working with popups (within Google play app in my case and apparently the adds are authorised by Google!!!. The add will ask for a penny (that cleverly appears to be to pay for whatever you are using the app/website) and when you think oh ok it's only a penny and pay it will in fact be for a 1 day trial (who does a 1 day trial BTW?, answer, Nobody legit!!) after which they will automatically take the full subscription (in my case £25)..... And there is nothing you can do!..... Except try not to miss the email they send you, which will probably end up in your spam folder, so you WILL likely miss it..... They are sadly treading just down the line of the law.... And catching lot I suspect.... So just a sad bunch of losers who should try doing something more constructive with thier lives!!!!.... nothing to do but raise awareness, report them to Google and hope at some point Google gives up the income and take away learn corps ability to generate adds..... Sadly I expect we will all be waiting a long time for that!

Wish I could give it zero stars

As I can see reading this review section, I'm not the only one. This site will just randomly pop up on a page that you are looking at and ask for £0.01 which most would assume is for something you're already looking at. It's not, it's a total scam and thankfully I've already realised and blocked my card. Good luck getting that £49 from me tomorrow.

Learn Corp Scam

Similar to other reviews, all I wanted to do was download a cycling route map for an upcoming charity bike ride (of all things!). It looked like I was going to be charged 1p for the map so decided to pay it with Apple Pay.
Was subsequently debited £49 by these scamsters. I have emailed Learn/corp and also contacted my bank to try and block the payment.
Be careful of similar tricks by these fraudsters.

SCAM

All I wanted was a map of a walking route. Innocently I agreed to a £0.01 charge via the Apple App Store. Very easily done. This charge has not been processed of now but 24 hours later my current account has been debited by £49.00. This is a monthly charge. My bank has blocked it but I still need to contact them to get the initial £49.00 amount reversed. Not the first time I have been scammed from Cyprus. In fact I have only ever been scammed from Cyprus. I will think twice before ever ordering online again.

This Is A Click Bait Scam

This is a ClickBait scam… if your reading this its probably to late, you have clicked on a 1 day free trial for 0.01p then been told your signed up to Learn-corp and an auto renew subscription at £49.00 per month until canceled. Maybe like me you tried canceling within the first 24h but found none of the “Unsubscribe” links work… unfortunately you have been the victim of a Click Bait scam. The only hope of getting your monies back is to contact your bank or card supplier and complain, at least if enough people complain the banks will refuse to pay them in the future and that site will probably be taken down, only to be replaced with one doing exactly the same thing. The moral hear is don’t ever except a free trial online…..I have since posting this review, received a full refund…

Rotters

Rotters. I suggest their method is to attach a request for a subscription to some other product of an entirely different nature, from another source....so you think you are just buying that other product, but the very minute small print gets you this sub as well. The steps they indicate one has taken are just not possible, without knowing it, so it has to be a "hidden" method.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SCAM

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! SCAM SCAM SCAM!! They robbed my 14 year old daughter of £49.99 and refuse to pay it back! Stating that she signed up when she hadn’t, and knew nothing of the company! It somehow links to something on the phone (a pop up) and steals your information! Apparently it signs you up to a 1 day trial and then takes £49.99 the day after -so if you are unaware of it, they take it from you! It’s disgusting that companies can get away with this! How can you refuse to pay back money that you took from a child. Thieves!! Be very careful - they will take your money and not give you any means to claim it back!

Fraudsters!

Fraudsters! I have spoken to HSBC who advise this is a pop up fraud case! I was trying to download an app for downloading videos and a pop up for 1p appeared. Little did I know I’d signed up for £49 a month for a website that is zero use to me! Beware!

Beware nondescript pop-ups

I was downloading a recipe and a pop up appeared to charge 1p I thought it was for the recipe. It wasn't, it was a sign up to Learn Corp for a day. I received an email saying £49 would be charged for the month!! If not cancelled immediately. I tried but the link was not working. I emailed to cancel everything but they indicated it would take more than 24 hours to respond. So I guess the further charge would be made.

I had no option but to call my card company and register a dispute which I’ve done.
I have no idea whether Learn Corp is legit but from this experience their practice of using pop-up I suggest caution.
