The lessons provided are comprehensive and detailed. They are broken down into manageable sections that makes sure they are not overwhelming. The instructor is great, you cannot help but feel his enthusiasm which in turn makes you feel confident. The community of other students who have taken the class is an added bonus, they are also a great resource. I am actively using what I learned in my voice acting career.

A well organized, well executed approach to learning voice acting. Extremely motivating. Helpful interactions with other students through peer feedback helped me improve, and the Level Up Lab experience pushed me to explore my voice in a supportive environment. There's so much good information and recorded in high quality so I can learn while driving when I have to. I've been accepted into the Pandora's Vox and am looking forward to that more intense training. Also, the acting training was spot on. Joe makes the learning fun. I hope you take advantage of his great training and focus on group experiences.

I'm not fully done with the course yet but so far I can confidently tell you that it's a great entry point if you're interested in building a career in voice acting. The interface itself is very clean and user-friendly. The community is active and incredibly supportive. Another point that I find to be of immense value is Joe's reassuring attitude in his lessons. He really helps you believe in yourself, which I think is priceless when starting something new. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into curating the content and order of the lessons as well. Definitely worth the investment, especially if you're a beginner.

Lessons that are broken into bite sized segments. Yet the overall classes are VERY comprehensive. A community filled with talented voice actors helping each other. And a teacher whose made the journey, is known in the industry, and is loved and appreciated by all whom he's helped. I know it sounds too good to be true, but it's not.

Joe is an amazing instructor, breaking down all the basics of everything you need to know to be a voice actor in today’s industry, based on his real-lived experiences! And if you have any lingering questions about a topic that he covered, he hosts quarterly Q&As for free in which he is happy to cover those topics more in depth! He is also constantly coming up with new and exciting ways to invoke learning, such as the Level-Up Lab! I personally couldn’t have asked for it any better, and would absolutely recommend his course :)

This program is the real deal. The workshops are top notch. You have access to real world VO professionals reviewing your submissions and the support of your peers is outstanding. You aren’t going to find something like this anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and take the leap and improve your knowledge and skills. Tell them Larry Womac recommended I sign up. This course is exactly as described. Takes you through all the things you need to know. I was blown away by all the good lessons. So much I didn’t even realize about the industry. I had buyers remorse for a little bit the more I did in the academy the more I was glad I signed up. Very informative while being funny and relevant!

Check out the master class you see advertised even if you think it's a pipe dream. The community is very active in the forums and you can ask questions from your peers. Have an issue and the company response is usually done within the day or two at most. There are interactive classes like The Level Up Lab where you get real feed back from others while you practice so you can see where to improve. I enjoyed this and been here since February.

If you want a Voice Acting Course that gets to the @#$%ing point, this one is for you.

I have the attention span of a goldfish, so I really appreciate that the information is presented in a concise and easy-to-digest manner. Taking the course during my lunch hour and after work was manageable.

I originally enrolled in this course to improve my public speaking and podcasting skills. It has benefited me in many unexpected ways, especially in my 9-5 job in creative production. At the time I took the course, my team was just beginning to work with audio. This course provided me with a solid foundation in understanding audio, specifying my needs when working with voice actors, and offering creative direction. The additional resources provided were incredibly helpful for my ongoing research into both voice acting and audio production.

A year later, I feel much more confident in my abilities, which has allowed me to pursue opportunities I wouldn’t have considered before taking the class. I’ve also met some really cool people in the community, and it's inspiring to see everyone’s journeys unfold. The support we give one another is amazing.

Additionally, there have been some unexpected benefits. My dad creates Rick Steves-style travel videos documenting their adventures around the world, and he now likes to use my setup to record his audio.

It's great for many voice possibilities, the community is welcoming. Learning to open experiences all ages, and more. Voice in many categories find for myself, have many other voice actors give guidance to me, it helped me as well and is incredibly fun. This is a journey of finding many voice possibilities to experience, I will find a way to be a pro at it.

When I took an interest into doing voice acting, I didn’t know where or how to start. Do I need some sort of degree? Will this hurt my bank account? How can I transform my voice from an innocent bookworm, to a fierce warrior, to a magical creature? This is why I love Joe’s course. He takes all of those big questions and shrinks them into small bits to make them easier to understand and even better to digest, so you’re not losing your head, or $1000 on equipment. He takes you through how he managed to build his career and encourages his students to also find other unique ways to build their own careers. After taking the course, I feel even more confident than I did before I started. Highly recommend!
