From January 2026, amendments to FRS 102 require most companies reporting under UK and Irish GAAP to bring leases onto the balance sheet: every property, vehicle and equipment lease needs a lease liability and a right-of-use asset, supported by amortisation schedules, journals and disclosure notes. Most tools for this work were designed for large corporates reporting under IFRS 16, and are priced accordingly. Lease102 does the same job for a monthly subscription starting at £20 plus VAT. Upload a lease in PDF, Word or Excel and the AI reads it and extracts the key terms for your review. The platform then calculates the lease liability and right-of-use asset, using live SONIA or ESTR based discount rates where the lease has no implicit rate, and produces amortisation schedules, depreciation, journal postings and FRS 102 disclosure notes. Journals can be posted directly to Xero, Sage and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Multi-currency portfolios in GBP, EUR and USD are supported across multiple entities, with role-based access for teams and auditors and a full audit trail. Accountancy firms can manage all of their clients' leases in one place on the Practice tier, billed per active lease rather than a fixed subscription.
