I bought a Lebara SIM in Spain and as…

I bought a Lebara SIM in Spain and as soon as my number got activated, I was flooded with spam calls. This never happened to me with any other provider. My Lebara phone number was never provided to anyone, was not shared anywhere online, this number is new and completely new to anyone. Yet, spam calls on a daily basis. Either Lebara sells the phone numbers or the kiosk where I bought the SIM shared my phone number somewhere. To the point that I need to trash this SIM. Unusable. I keep blocking phone numbers and I keep getting spam calls from new numberd

Absolutely NO service...

First phone company with absolutely NO service, if you get trough to service after a looong waiting time and chosen English you get a person that can’t speak English, they take money from your account with out reason at all, it’s terrible how can an organization like Lebara have such a terrible business in Spain ?.

The worst company in Spain

The worst company in Spain. The Customer Service Department only responds with pre-prepared answers and does not go into the customer's case in any way. I would not recommend anyone to use this company. I called them before I left on my trip to secure a roaming service. Lebara confirmed that I would have roaming when I will be in France, but unfortunately this was not the case. When I contacted them from France via Lebara's whatsapp service, I had to wait 10-15 minutes for each of their sentences. I have never experienced such horror with any company. I have returned from a trip from France to Spain and I am asking Lebara to explain why I did not have roaming service. I have been on a whatsapp line with them for 3 hours and still keeping talking. Lebara keeps texting me every 10-15 minutes about something minor. I ask the Lebara representative to send me the e-mail of the head of the department or the director of the company, I get the reply that the representative has no right to do so, I ask him to connect the whatsapp communication with the head of the department, he does not connect. I don't understand the company's policy of having a regular customer and treating them like this. My wish for Lebara is to go to hell.

Don't deal with company

Don't deal with company. I applied on line for a prepaid sim paid my 7€ for 7gb. Registered the sim on line checked on the online app showing 7gb to use and 0.01€ credit. Started using the gb no problems getting low so I added 15€ credit then showing 15.01€ . As my gb Started dropping so did my credit till both were zero and no Internet was available. Rang up customer services quote my lebara telephone number and they would not talk to me as the number wasn't registered to me.

I've been conned by 15€ .

Sent email 3 days ago no response at all. Con job this company.

Spoke with lebera uk where I have an account nothing they can do totally different company!@

Telling me to download the Lebrara app but not recognising my email address even though they are sending me emails on the same email address. Cant download the app because of this error. Sorry I didnt see these review before getting this SIM wuth this company now seriously concerned I have it.

Awful customer service and still out of pocket

After applying for a free SIM card (and paying the first month upfront of the tariff) and selecting the option for communications to be in English, I received a text (in Spanish) saying delivery had been attempted but that we weren’t home (we were actually in the garden for the whole day, so would have been a few yards away from a delivery driver). I phoned Lebara to rearrange delivery and spoke to a man who can probably speak English as much as I can Spanish. Long story short he said that they could not rearrange delivery and that I would need to buy a SIM card from the local shop. I asked about the refund of the tariff and he said this would be returned in 2 days. It has now been several weeks and I still cannot get a refund. I’ve now tried WhatsApp and phoning to no avail. Please be aware that this company will be a nightmare if you have issues and don’t speak fluent Spanish!

Please avoid this company

Please avoid this company. They raised the minimum limit from 5 EUR per month to 7 without noticing. The credit can be charged by 5 or 10, which doesn't make any sense. If you have any left credit, then it is consumed without notice at an absurd higher rate. There is no one you can talk with.
I will make complain to the consumer rights authorities in Spain. Please avoid this scam at any cost!!!

One star is too much

One star is too much. Incompetence and total lack of support. All they are interested is taking the money. Problems keep repeating, stress level keeps rising.

If I could give zero sore I would.

By far the worst experience I have had with a phone company. In December I made a top up for 20 Euros online. They took the money but never activated the top-up. A couple of days later I called customer service and asked "Where is my top up", they said there was a problem with the payment system and they would refund the money if I made another payment over the phone with them. I did, which was also not activated. So, 40 euros later and still no top up. I gave up and kept using the phone just to receive messages. One month later they cancel my card for lack of payments and refused to reactivate it. Just the crappiest of phone companies.

COMPANIA HORRIBLE. Me robaron 40€ y me devolvieron solamente 20€. El signal es malissimo en CADA lugar que voy. LA PEJOR COMPANIA.

Do Not use Lebara !!!

I joined lebara last week and have not had service since. It would actually be better if i put a cornflake in my phone rather than their sim card. No points for this useless scammy ‘company’

Outrageous

Outrageous! First of all, their payment system, their app is a total failure. Then Their customer service.. they just ignore your emails for weeks and their call center isn’t able to help you neither. So If you want more stress in your life, buy lebara

Disappointed and stressed after switching to Lebara

Joined the Lebara network 10 days ago as seemed an excellent package. Asked for my number to be ported. Then had, and continue to have ‘no service’. Have phoned many times, emailed, all to no avail. They very politely say that they will help me, assure me that it will soon be sorted out and then absolutely nothing happens! It is so frustrating. How can a company treat a customer with such contempt? I long to have my phone back in action. I should be able to say, “ I had a problem and Lebara kept in touch with me and sorted it out promptly and efficiently.” Sadly this is NOT the case. Think very hard about switching to Lebara would be my advice.

From very good to very bad

Had a mobile phone Lebare account in Spain for years and all went well. I had to change the SIM card. I asked to keep my number. No one can help and customer care managers refuse to speak (even once) or answer my mail. Only answer I get is I have to wait and they will sort it out. I am waiting since +3 weeks. My patience is running on fumes.

Ordered a SIM card and paid for it , got e mail saying it’s being processed at beginning of October 2022 , written several e mails with order number and photo attached if order and their confirmation, now into December and still sending e mails to them , what a useless bunch must work there , customer service seems to be non existent, now taken to reading other people’s reviews which kind of confirm I am not the only person with similar issues with them , if your reading this and thinking should I use Lebara , my advice is don’t waste your money or time , go to one of the bigger companies and you’ll get a decent service provider

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless, take money don't apply it to phone then argue for a week about returning the money while having no phone so you pay again and dont get your full data back. Scamming bunch of c@#×$.

Actually they are taking money for…

Actually they are taking money for nothing. Topped up 20€ and when after some time I checked my balance there were no money on the balance and Lebara refused to return it to my account because 72 hours passed. No service no mone!!! Avoid

What a waste of time

What a waste of time. Ordered a simcard with 5 euros prepaid credit. Faulty simcard arrived which I couldn't activate. Customer servise advised to order another sim and they will either transfer or refund me from the previous faulty sim. Unable to get a refund or transfer the funds to a new sim. Loads of emails where they changing their mind and wasting my time.
