Awful Quality AVOID THIS COMPANY

1 star is too high a ranking
I bought a screwin bulb holder , copper effect in July. Ihave only jsut fitted it and on screwing the first bulb in the threaded reciver stuck to the bulb and came out breaking a £45 , 200mm edsion style bulb
the quality of this item is awful and i dreed to think of the possible fire risk. NO CE certification was evident and im appauled by this copany and their awful quality products .

I emailed twice before leaving the review and twice since you sell unfut fir purpose electrical fittings and provide ignorant and unprofessional custoner service. All emails you ignore. The reciver is so poorly made it fell apart screwing a bulb in , a light bulb made of glass that cannot other be fitted with aggression or the bulb would break so poor quality items and liars in customer service what a company!

Dangerous light fitting

I purchased what transpired to be a potentially lethal light fitting from Ledsone. As an electrical engineer for over 40 years I confidently installed it, noting the polarity tags (L,N,E) on the non-coloured wires. Switching on it didn't work, thank god I switched back off before before inspecting, as the cable core marked 'live' was in fact the 'earth' and duly grounded down to the metal of the light fitting, making it live!
I swiftly wrote to Ledsone to alert them, (maybe naively) thinking they would recall this product, but in fact they never even responded.
So as a duty of care, I am publicly highlighting this issue and advise extreme caution to anyone contemplating a purchase from these people.

I ordered 4 m of two wire gold twist

I ordered 4 m of two wire gold twist. It took over a week to get to me. I purchased this on eBay. When the packaged arrived. It had tracked 48 sticker on the bag so I cannot understand why it took over a week to get to me. Sending back by return on eBay the absolute twaddle that I was given that if I do not follow these instructions I will not receive a refund if it's not in the original packaging etc etc. and then I have to pay for the postage back. They wanted me to post it to their address which I've refused to do because I was waiting 3 days for a QR code. I only received that this morning. There's something not right with the way that they are delivering stuff and the returns that you have to go through. I would suggest sending photographs of the original packaging, returning anything with a QR code and not directly back to the company. Thus, this gives them the opportunity to say that they never received the package and not give you your refund back. I would be very careful with purchasing anything from this company online

We’d like to clarify what happened — your parcel was sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 service, which normally delivers within 2 working days. Unfortunately, there was a courier delay beyond our control, and that’s why it took a few extra days to reach you.

Once you informed us that you no longer wanted to keep the item, we promised to provide a prepaid QR return label so that you wouldn’t have to pay for return postage. However, before we could send that label, a return case was created under the “changed my mind” reason.

Because of that, system automatically sent the standard 30-day return policy message, which mentions returning the parcel in original packaging and paying for return postage. This is just an automated message sent by our return system — it wasn’t meant as a new instruction from us. We had already committed to providing the QR label for you.

We completely understand how this caused confusion and frustration, and we sincerely apologise for the delay and misunderstanding. Thank you for your patience, and please rest assured that we always aim to resolve issues as smoothly as possible.

They completely ignored my return

They completely ignored my return. From what I read here, this is not the only time that happened. I had to charge back via my card.

EDIT: They immediately challenged this review and are trying to get Trustpilot to remove it. I assume they always do that, so be aware that most negative reviews never make it to this site.

Scam-like Experience – No Response, No Delivery After 3 Weeks

I placed a large order for pendant lights from this company over three weeks ago. I received only the first confirmation email, and since then, absolutely nothing. The tracking link they gave me shows “tracking not available”. I have sent multiple emails, no one replied. I have tried contacting them via the chat function on their website. No one replied.

There has been zero communication, no shipping update, no explanation. It feels like this company just took my money and disappeared.

I am extremely frustrated and angry. I will be reporting them to PayPal to get my money back.

Do your own reasearch folk!! It’s not a listed company

Update, they asked me to improve the review: Do your own reasearch folk, all is not what it seems. 1. Check TrustPilot you will a lot of 1 star reviews take note, and 2. check companies house - you won't find this company - which should raise alarm bells. For the address listed on the website, what you will find is: a director listed for: RELIC ELECTRICAL LTD and the same director listed another company trading as DCVOLTAGE LTD but NOTHING for this company- ASK YOURSELF WHY. More importantly - they also sell and ship ILLEGAL and DANGEROUS goods, in the example I saw there was NO CE/UKCA markings, it was meant to be used in the rain, mains wire, with NO protection. Which would concern Trading Standards, Not to mention FAKE reviews. And mis-leading advertising (promoting a company that does not exist, to scam customers who are not aware) I will be contacting Advertising Standards Agency AND Trading Standards.
