SCAM!

Signed up for a course with Legacy after a free session and booked a date. Had to change the date a couple of times due to work commitments. After initially being fairly responsive, they stopped responding to my emails and I never heard from them again (needless to say, I never got to attend the course - PAID IN ADVANCE, of course!).

Do not go with Legacy!

Do not go with Legacy!

They have the best sales strategy and the worst service I ever encountered from a company. Signed up one year ago and tiring problems since about a month after the contract was set.
Spend your money on a financial course to get much better results.

Biggest (and by far most expensive) mistake in a long time.

We did not hear anything back from our Mentor nor from the [Lifelong] Help Desk.
Calls and emails aren't answered.
!Stay away from that scamming company for your money and nerves sake!

Don’t do this mistake!!!

My partner and I bought a 45k (aud) course with them. Worst mistake of our existence. We received nothing in change a part from the worst customer service and no mentorship (ah sorry we refused to accept a watered down ONLINE course instead of a face to face mentorship with property viewings). For anyone that wants to start in property investing, please run away from these guys.

I would Avoid this training.

I would Avoid this training.

I attended an initial presentation believing it was a Martin Roberts course, then paid £1000 for a 3 day training, again believing maybe Martin Roberts will do the 3 day course. No Sign of him. They just sucking you in. On day 1 we were told to phone credit card companies to increase our limits because we are now 'property investors', come day 2 lunch time they want you to hand over £20k/£30k/£40k for further training and day 3 they don't really have time for you if you are not one of the ones who forked over the money. They wear you out with information so you overwhelmed and you think the only way forward is the training. I did learn some stuff in those 3 days but i didn't get suckered into forking over £20k.

Fantastic selling skills, but no more

They do have great selling skills and put you into a clever funnel trying to upsell you to 56.000 NZD.

Attended the 3-day training for 1.300 NZD in Auckland and learned a bit in investing, but definitely not worth the money. 60 % of the presentation was a sales pitch.

Better invest that money in other forms of financial education and be sure to read the reviews before you buy anything. I wish I had done that and saved my 1.300 NZD.

People stay away from this company !!!
I signed for advance training costed me £19579 then 3 days later decided to cancel agreement as i realized they have brained washed me during 3 day basic training. Ever since i fought a battle to get my money back , they have use different excuses, covid 19 , now they are saying the account I paid a money to was suspended by Barclays so they are unable to refund my money as they haven't got access to the funds, What a lies they try to feed people with !
I contacted Barclays to verify if they are banking with them and they told me they are using 3rd party society building bank account and it lloks like scam to them, because now i know it is.
I am going to police and also i will have to get solicitor involved otherwise i will never get money back.
I took a loan to pay for it , now i am left with £400 monthly payment for 5 years, no training and no money.
Avoid them for all cost !!! they are nothing like scammers

Beware

Beware - Legacy Training are now Asset Academy which is also fronted by Martin Roberts & Robbie Fowler incredibly.
Here is a review I have just written on Asset Academy so you can see nothing has changed.

Can't believe Martin Roberts and Robbie Fowler put their name to this. I attended the free 2 hour seminar and was completely sold on the things I would learn on the 3 day workshop & the deal they were providing. First we would attend a webbed (typically valued at £250 -yeah right). There are actually 2 webexs and both are a waste of your time. We get to see a few run throughs of some calculations based on deals they have supposedly found on the 1st webex.(leaves you think so what was that all in aid of? I learnt nothing I didnt get for free in the seminar. The 2nd webex for 45 mins wastes over 30/35 mins with the presenter telling you about her, her kids, her husband etc... completely falls into the so what category.
Do yourself a favour and learn about quantum NLP and you will see what they are setting out to do on the 3 day course. They are looking for susceptible people to play on.
Based on my research (and seeing reviews saying they will heavily play on the need for further courses - Elite Training - Mentorships where you would invest between £26,000-£40,000) and how woeful the webinars are - i emailed and ask for more detail as to what they would ensure I would learn for my £1k investment. I wanted to be clear I wouldn't invest any further if the weren't going to provide value for this initial invest. I got 2 responses from customer service and one was - based on your feedback this course isn't for you we can offer you a refund. Says it all really.
I decided to attend the course as I was also offered the chance to attend day 1 and make a call.
We had Rohan who is a professional speaker NOT a property developer at all. Supposedly versed in NLP but as I have experience of this it was incredibly obvious.
Constant hand raising as way of positive affirmation.
Constant 'was that good or great information' good or great.
Heavily demanding people used their 1st lunch break to call the banks to see how much money you could lay your hands on and how quick. Aggressiveness shown to people who didnt do this.
All aimed at the one to one sessions where their goal was to get people to sign up to £26K of additional training (& why wouldn't you the bank has agreed to loan you already)
Lots of trying to make you feel beholden to them. 'These people didnt need to be here today. They've all dropped everything for you - you should be greatful' - err no. I paid £1k for you to present and teach me actually.
Then the gear change at the end of the 1st day... sombre tone, sad videos (Steve Jobs talking about dying). And the need to write down what success looks like to you, what charities would you leave your money to etc.
Go to the 2 hour free taster and then read books. All I head from day 1 was the need to borrow money from others. Tell everyone 'I beat the banks'
Its all a clever sham to get more money out of people rather than give you much teachings. May have worked better if Rohan wasn't so amateur in his delivery of his aggressive manner.

This company is a scam and I WOULDNT SIGN UP TO THEIR PROGRAM.

This company is a scam and I wouldn’t suggest anyone to sign up to any program that they are offering. They will get you to sign up to a “fake” program and promise to the moon and back that they will “help” you in investing money into something that doesn’t exist. They pose under many names so don’t trust this company or a company called “Legacy Education”.

Please Be Wary.

Please Be Wary.
Signed for a advance training product with LEA company, costing £15975.00 in April 2019. After deposit of £10975 I decided to change my mind due to gut feeling that something is not right..
Called to cancel my contract but because the cooling period has passed I was threatened with severe penalty, which I accepted since I know that this was stated in the contract. Requested for a refund through one of their director called Catherine via Thomas, my student advisor. Then my journey of money recovery begun. The experience was not a good one as it took me 3 months to recover part of my money, loosing £4797 to what they call administrative penalties. This was after my solicitor has to write to them.
Shortly after the refund I received an email that they have gone into administration
Thank God I got some of my money back and has since joined another club and I am making real progress.
So be Wary and do your research and do not be rushed or pressured into signing any contract. Also follow your instinct.
Mistakes is inevitable but we can reduce the risk and can learn valuable lessons from them.

SCAM! Stay away from this company!

A scam! I signed a contract which stated that I could get my deposit of 1,600 GBP refunded within 45 working days, and even got a confirmation that they would actually do this. Legacy never refunded me my deposit and whenever I called or emailed them they said that the right person was not in at the moment, the 'finance group' was in meetings or that refunds had to be accepted at Director's Level but he was never in. I emailed them a formal email and a (way overdue deadline) of paying back the deposit which they never responded to. I registered an online money claim through the UK gov's pages where they had 14 days to reply. They have not yet replied. It also seems like they have had several company names in the past and changed it quite recently. This is a total scam, so please please, stay away from them.

A horrible company!

A horrible company!! They are so nice and helpful until you pay them and then the disappear... if you have any issue (even a major health issue) or request no one will answer you, e mail you back, call you back, no one will help you in anyway even if you pay them 20,000 dollars... nobody cares! So many people in these online classes that there is personal attention and basically you really are fully alone in this program after paying so much and being promised many thins that non of them are true...! I would recommend in finding a different program for this kind of eduction and please don’t fall for their big promises and success stories it’s probably 95 percent lies!

These guys are a complete scam

These guys are a complete scam. They employ professional presenters to pretend they were once poor students who have changed their lives through this training program.

Odd the same tail is told both in the UK and the US... maybe all students with a debt of £30k ($30k for US readers) go on their courses and become a fantastic success through these dodgy liars?

Don't be fooled, all they want is your money in exchange for a pack and to get you sucked into attending a 3 day course whereby they look to bleed you for more money, £30k+!... Don't be fooled.

I requested my money back within 48hrs of paying £997.00 and well within their 14 days cooling off money back guarantee, fat chance!

They tied to persuade me to attend their course 'for free' so they could persuade we to part with more money no doubt, but I politely declined. After further efforts to keep me on board by a senior closure person I was informed I would receive my full refund only if I first returned all materials unopened, on receipt of these it would take '28 days'!!

28 days came and went. I chased and was told by a Stacey Hill "We're having issues with our payment system and can't raise any credits at present, we'll get back to you as soon as its resolved, it's with the Directors"

After many chases over 2 weeks of the same useless, non comital respond I was passed to a senior Monika Summers, who gave me the same fobbing response before declining to respond to any further email requests for information.

After a further 3 weeks later I called the first lady Stacey Hill and was told she wasn't in the office, I was then by the powers of magic passed through to 'Stacey Hill' who sounded remarkably like Monika Summers who asked how I had paid. When I responded by credit cards, she informed me they had gone into administration and "call your credit card company and they'll sort the refund". No "We're sorry".

Stacey/Monika went on to say they were still providing the courses for those who had booked and paid and were in conversation with a company who was looking to take them over - Oddly I feel they may be related to Legacy???

Finally, don't get drawn in by the names they promote to persuade you they are legitimate, like Robbie Fowler or Martin Roberts, these are just further tools they use to scam your cash. All those involved should be brought to account. I hope you have found this useful - Clearly these are merely my personal views based on my experience and those I read, hence not attending the course and requesting my money back to no avail!

Legacy Education Nightmare

My wife and I live in Australia and unfortunately, we signed up for a UK mentorship booked and confirmed. Since then the nightmare starts.
Legacy UK is put in Administration and the parent company, Legacy US now refusing to refund our $45,497 AUD. Only offering an alternative product for which we don't agree to or want. We are now dealing with a different country, company, branding, support, mentors, management and contacts, every detail has changed. Currently they have nothing for us and yet they still claim they will be providing the same product we purchased. If they were car sales, We ordered a “Porsche” but they are supplying a “Ford” but not a refund. It's Unconscionable Conduct and breaches fair trading consumer protection laws worldwide.
The nightmare continues, from customers to hostages of Legacy Education.

Run away from this organisation !!!

I went for the 3 days training with my wife in Paris, we've paid 900€ for that.
During those 3 days they spend 50% of the time to sell the 24000€ 'advance training' instead of teaching us how to start investing.
In addition the Legacy company providing training in France is the british unit and they are in bankruptcy in the UK !
Last of all, the training is 100% dedicated in investing in the UK. They don't know anything about french market, and they don't know how it work for a french to invest in the UK and transfer the money, and the taxe on the income...
The main point for me not to go further with the training, is that they were not able to give me the proof that the method they provid can work : a french lady came to give her feedback after paying 24000 € she bought 1 appartment in 2.5 years and she was making 0 € cashflow ! And even with an Excel sheet they were not able to prove me that it was faisable !
To conclude, the 2 couples i kept in touch with, we had decided to subscribe to the training had finnaly decided not to do it (for the reason explained before) and 1 couple already gave a 1st payment and up to today do not manage to see her money back !!!

Liers and manipulators

We decided to not to undertake the course as we realized that most of the information you can find easily on the internet. After all, we wanted to claim our money back as we were entitled to, I add that we were acting within their refund policy so everything was done in time manners.
They said that a refund will be done after 21 working days. Unfortunately, after this period, we didn't receive any money back, instead, they start to avoid our emails. A person who was dealing with our refund was constantly out of the office and once we get to them their start to making some bad explanations about transfer issues. After many times of the same story, we decided to contact our bank with which we paid for the course to help us out with these manipulators. Fortunately, the bank sorted out this problem for us after a couple of months of a fight with these people.
