It depends a lot on the lawyer you end…

It depends a lot on the lawyer you end up working with. So if you are redirected to them through ARAG, just try to stay out of their network, and look for a lawyer directly from ARAG website.

Not satisfied with the service by RA Fabian Bödecker of Legalhero

I was directed to the lawyer RA Fabian Bödecker through my insurance company due to English skills and experience in business law.
However due to lack of English skills we had lack of understandings all the time and a deep misunderstandings. Also unfortunately we could not discuss what could be the strategies, steps etc as expected. Bein unlucky, on the other hand my collegues working with other lawyer were telling me their success stories purely thanks to their lawyers.

I am not satisfied with their service unfortunately :( Result was a total failure.

Very messy and misorganized

I was referred to LegalHero through ARAG. The case went unattended for over a week because the lawyer (or their office) attempted to contact me using the wrong email address. I had specifically requested assistance from an English-speaking lawyer, but the lawyer who eventually reached out communicated only in German.

After some back and forth, that lawyer said he couldn’t take the case because he was currently busy with training (we only communicated in German, so I don't know if LegalHero even bothered to contact an English-speaking lawyer). He then advised me to contact a different law firm that might have English-speaking staff. I followed up with LegalHero again, and they assured me that an English-speaking lawyer would contact me the next day. I waited, but no one got in touch.

When I called LegalHero again, they told me they had reached out to the same lawyer—who had already said he couldn’t take the case. Now I'm being told to wait another day for someone to contact me, even though this matter was already urgent when I opened the case two weeks ago.

The most frustrating part is that nothing moves forward unless I step in—not just to ask for updates, but to actively direct the process myself. It’s incredibly disappointing to pay for a premium service and end up managing the case on their behalf.
