Leger are a great company.

Great Company, excellent drivers who are very knowledgable about the places you visit. We stayed in a lovely hotel in Antwerp while visiting the Dutch bulb fields. The whole holiday was a delight.

Normandy landings and beyond.

First time doing the battlefields of Normandy and I have to say what a wonderful experience. The drivers Blake and Trudy were really good together with our guide Ian.
He was very knowledgeable and interesting telling the truths of the Normandy landings and beyond. I took my son with me who was also intrigued by the whole experience. A wonderful five days away.

D-Day Landings in Normandy - 5 Days

The tour itself was very good. Our guide, Ian Mason was brilliant and made the stories come to life with extra photographs & additional stops to explain things further. He was very knowledgable and took the time to understand why each person was on the trip. We’d definitely do another tour with him.

The hotel (Ibis Falaise Coeur de Normandie) was clean and comfortable & the staff were friendly & welcoming. The restaurant menu was limited but suited our needs.

The Luxuria coach was very comfortable and spacious and the drivers Blake & Trudy were great. Their driving was smooth and they were attentive & professional whilst also being friendly.

The negative to the whole trip is the feeder coach system.
We were in the last group to get on our feeder coach, which was then full & we couldn’t sit together. The driver was great and we had one stop on the way to the interchange, but the coach was cramped and therefore very uncomfortable.
We were told that there would be an announcement when the coaches were loading at the interchange, but weren’t told that you need to be by the desk to hear it, so we were unaware the coach was loading early as we were sitting at the other end of the building due to the other area being full.
The return feeder coach was actually even more uncomfortable (very narrow seats) and the onboard toilet was full & smelling, having just returned from a 5 day trip.
Both feeder coaches did get us to the right place at the right time, but when you’re choosing the Luxuria coach for the tour in order to have the space, the feeder coaches ruin it, especially on the way home. I realise it’s about numbers & some people were travelling home on Luxuria, but I’d prefer the option of the coach I picked being used for the whole journey. This is what will stop me from booking another tour & the reason I can’t give 5 stars to what would otherwise be a 5 star trip.

Fantastic Guide on All Quiet on The Western Front Tour - the rest a bit meh.

First timers with Leger although many others were repeat customers. Pros - guide Andrew was great, so knowledgeable about WW1, good humoured, flexible, responsive - couldn't have had better and as this is the heart of the tour then this was the reason we would consider going Leger again.
Cons - hotel location was on industrial estate in the middle of nowhere and spent 3 hours each day travelling to/from sites - not on. Rooms and staff were great but food offer distinctively average. Went Executive coach - so get this is the cheapest but wouldn't do again - too cramped, intermittent aircon only. Booking process very easy and able to speak directly to office staff - also great that once you are on your feeder coach Leger totally look after your luggage - no hauling it around yourself which is great. However - our pick up time was 1.55am!! which we were not told or even warned about until c 2 weeks before departure. Had we know we would have travelled much closer to the central hub ourselves. Arrived shattered and tired throughout the first day. So a mixed bag. Would consider Leger again but higher coach class and would probe on transfer times.

Tiring but absolutely worth it.

The feeder service ran smoothly. Very well organised and efficient. Our guide Ian who is so passionate about D day made the tour interesting taking us to none itinerary sights. Driver Blake very respectful, friendly and excellent at his job. The hotel basic but clean served its purpose. My only niggle was the hotel being a bit far out.

Went out of their way to accomodate our request for single rooms.…

Went out of their way to accomodate our requirements for single rooms. Not available at time of first calling but agent advised they would contact the hotel to check if 2 singles were available and call me back to advise accordingly. Received a call the following day advising hotel had made 2 x singles available as per my request so I went ahead with the booking. No computer says no rubbish so thats it, no joy!!!

Fabulous trip to the Dutch Bulbfields & Amsterdam.

Fabulous trip to the Netherlands.
Very comfy Luxuria coach and drivers Paul and John (standing in for Lisa) very friendly attentive and helpful. Paul was very knowledgable about everywhere we went and works very hard.
Hotel Gorinchem lovely, staff friendly, room very clean, big comfortable bed, everything we needed and breakfast and dinner delicious.
Excursions to Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Delft and The Hague all very well organised and interesting. Also enjoyed the Clog and Cheese Farm.
Very well organised from start to finish including the Stop 24 services. Been on coach trips with other companies and it was so great not to have to complain about anything this time. Really enjoyed it.
Will definitely be travelling again with Leger.

Easy to book and choose add ons

Easy to book and choose add ons. As a solo traveller, I would like to see more availability for solo travelling without the high supplement charges. My first time using this company and first time doing a coach holiday outside of the UK.

From the first time that I travelled…

From the first time that I travelled with Leger the experience was 100% absoluty first clas service. The whole leger tean deserve a massive round of applause. The team keep you up to date with your travels, pick up time, the journey to the Interchange is a mazing the way the staff manage to get everyones cases are transfered from the feeder coach to the coach which is your tour coach.

A great booking experience…

The person I spoke to on the phone when I booked our next trip with Leger Holidays was so helpful, polite and professional. I was booking for eight people and asked her so many questions but nothing was too much trouble. She is truly a great asset to our company! I’ve travelled with Leger on many occasions and wouldn’t think of travelling with any other company!
