Do not trust delivery dates on the site - read order confirmation carefully - and dont waste your time on giving feedback to lentiamo

Summary:
Lentiamo are MISLEADING custumers on amount in stock and on delivery dates.
When you give feedback the do not take responsibility but put it back to the customer.
If you read the reviews for the past 3-5 month you will find several others that have had the same experience.

Original post:
In most cases the webshop will let you believe that stock is full and you will get what you order "in a few days".
In reality some of the stock is "remote" and as default your entire order will not ship until the last package is available.
You will then have to contact customer service to ask to have your order split and only then you will receive the first packages in "a little week"
Lentiamo has commented that this is common practice and that there is some small print somewhere that tells about it. After I got notice of late delivery (+20 days) I did however try to repeat the exact same order and the site showed 7 days delivery. So either more was in stock - just not for me - or the next customer was given "make-believe" availabily.

Update:
Again I have received a long answer on why lentiamo has been right on everything - even being told that "I waited four days to pick up the delivery after it was sent". There are good reasons for that - and it is not really relevant to the case.

The case is that:
the delivery date I get from the order confirmation is much later than the one I was getting on the website. And for me it seems to always be that way. Even after I got the "late delivery date" the site would still give me a much earlier date if I tried to reorder. That seems to be an error or knowingly mislead customers. And I dont care what you are writing in "small print" elsewhere on your site or in small question marks - I bet you could do better if you wanted.

The facts are:
I entered my order 4/10. The site said that the products would ship 5/10. The order confirmation I received a few minutes later said that items would be in stock 6/10 and 26/10. Ie: a delay of more than 21 days - had I not contacted you. After I had the confirmation I tried to reenter my order on your site which now said "shipping 7/10" even though you would not have the product in stock until 26/10.

That is MISLEADING the customer.

Also you should be ashamed for apraising yourself of not charging for an additional shipping. You made the mistake - so if course you should fix it without me paying extra.

In conclusion:
I am not trying to scare anyone away. I am simply advicing other customers to be aware of your delivery date policy. And I am giving you the feedback so you can learn from it and improve. Not to debate with me or tell me that I was four days to collect the shipment. You should be ashamed for tainting the customer when I am taking the time to give feedback.

I have now set my rating to 1 star because of your poor way of handling feedback. You shuld learn and improve your services and be honest and up front on delivery dates. And you should never blame or shame customers (like me) taking time to give feedback.

Originally I was only trying to help you and your customers - now I lean toward shopping somewhere else going forward.

Feel free to challenge my feedback again and I will step up - or (preferred) let us all know how you intend to improve your delivery date information and stop MISLEADING customers.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and updating it. However, I would like to clarify some details, for you and other clients who might want to understand what happened with your order.

In regards to availability of astigmatism (toric) lenses, there are a few aspects to consider. They have many parameters and the combinations of all these details - cylinder, axis, diopters, could result in a huge number of combinations possible.
So, we do not store many specimens for each combination, since there re not many people with the exact same astigmatism parameters in the 15 countries where we deliver.

However, we do mention next to the product's name how many items from that specific product we have in stock. Still, should you wish to see if the product with your particular parameters can be dispatched soon, please enter the details and then take a look at the Availability section(Tilgængelighed). There should be indicated the earliest possible and the latest dates when your product could be in stock and available for dispatch. There is also a question mark, which gives you a more detailed explanation, such as "De fleste bestillinger kan blive sendt om X antal dage. Vi vil informere dig om den præcise dato de bliver sendt på e-mail, indenfor en arbejdsdag fra den dag du placerede din bestilling." I believe we do everything possible to inform our clients about this. I am sorry if any of the details confused you. It is not our style to make people believe untruthful information. Otherwise, we could not be on the EU market for 8 years. However it is important for you to read the information thoroughly.

In addition, within 1 day we inform you about the dispatch date. If that is not convenient to you, you can notify us and even cancel it. We will not charge you for doing so. When you received the update email, perhaps you should have decided what suits you best.

Furthermore, in regards to delivery, you paid one delivery fee. However, we have been understanding with you and upon your request, we separated the items in stock and we sent them to you without charging extra for shipping it.

The parcel reached your address in 2 working days. However, you picked it up 4 days later. From the day you placed the order, 4th Oct. until you received the last item (20 Oct), 16 days have passed. We are unsure why you wrote the "+20 days"... Please review the details, they are still available on the courier's tracking link in your dispatch email and in the other update notifications sent to you.


Still, we are available on our toll-free line and on our emails and we are always happy to discuss any aspects that need clarification. So, we will kindly ask you to use those means to pass on the message. Otherwise, we cannot help you as efficiently as we wish to. Also, it creates the wrong impression to other potential clients who have not experienced our services.

Moreover, for my loyal clients, I pre-order their specific prescriptions, to ensure that they are ready for them when they need them. I could do the same for you, if you believe that other aspects of our service suit you. Please let me know and I will gladly do it. The Linse Påminder (Lens Reminder) can be used to remind you to order far in advance.

Should you wish to avoid the waiting time, our website features or I are at your disposal.

I hope that clarified how we list the product availability and what are the delivery promises. I apologize if anything was unclear.

GLS made it bad

A bad review because of GLS - 7 days and still the package has not been delivered.
Answer to lentiamo: I know that. I was under the impression the delivery would take place on the 5th and spent the day at home. On the 6th I was away for an hour, came home and I called them at once to have them deliver it to a place I could collect it by foot, since we do not have a car. They then delivered it to the wrong place, spent another 24 getting it back and after my last call I was informed that I can at earliest pick it up Monday. I would get my money back from them if possible, worst phone assistance I ever experienced.

I checked GLS´parcel tracking, and I can see that GLS attempted to deliver it yesterday, October 6.
It has been delivered to the following parcel shop:

GLS should have informed you about this, but if you bring this number and a valid picture ID, you should be able to collect it.

Web shop good, but delivery with GLS did not work

When I went to collect package from GLS collection point, the package was not there, and the shop assistant coud not reach GLS by phone, as the office was "closed for the day" (at 17.30)???

The GLS cstomer service is open Mon.-Fri. between 8.30am-5.00pm, so that is why the shop assistant could not get a hold of them.

Not bad

The payment option is weird, as it sends the invoice before you actually pay, and you can not change the previously selected payment method (in case you choose to pay with PayPal but change your mind after). So I had to do 2 orders instead.
Other than that the shipping was fast and the product seems fine.

Ok, but

It would be nice if you said the lenses are sent from the Czech Republic as it increases significantly the cost of any return (though your prediction of delivery date was very exact).
Also it would be nice if you would mention that the lenses are the spheric type and not the aspheric (give that both seem to be avaliable for that model: Biofinity)
Otherwise ok.
