⚠️ Booking cancelled last minute – no refund. Report to French consumer protection!
I booked three nights via Booking.com and specified we would check in between 10–11 PM. The booking was confirmed. Despite multiple attempts to contact the property, no one responded. When I finally got in touch on the afternoon of July 15, I was told check-in was not possible after 4 PM. We agreed that I would instead check in the next morning and stay for two nights.
When I arrived the next day, I was informed the entire booking had been cancelled without notice, and no refund was issued.
I have now reported this property to the French consumer protection authority SignalConso and strongly encourage others to do the same.
