Return process and customer service isn’t great! I’m guessing from other feedback I won’t be getting my money back! I wouldn’t buy from them again.

Avoid!!!

I placed an order on August the 7th, shipping was supposed to take 7 to 12 business days. On August 21 there was an "attempted" delivery from DHL -that never happened since I was home- and since then no update. I contacted DHL to locate the package and they said fro UE orders -the glasses are shipped from AU- is the local post company in charge of the delivery and that they can't locate the package. Big surprise, when I contacted the local company that allegedly was in charge of the delivery they don't know anything about this package.

After this, I contacted 2 days ago the customer service of Le Specs and also DHL again, since someone will have to locate the package or declare it lost.

No reply from anyone.

Honestly, if some of the orders arrive to the EU, be ready to wait a month + to get it. And if there is a problem, apparently customer support is inexistent and not the company nor the shipping company will help you.

Save your money. I've never had such a bad experience buying online.

*UPDATE: So after 2h on the phone spent with DHL and the local courrier company, they found the package. After that "attempt" of delivery the package was sent back.

60€ I'll never see again.

Terrible experience.

The items are dispatched from Australia to the EU. It takes a long time. Then you have to pay custom tax. Then if you want to return, you pay yourself (to Australia!). It's technically on the website, but they make sure it's pretty hidden. The brand looks and sounds like it's a French brand. It's a joke. They shouldn't be operating like this in the EU.

Also, the sunglasses were pretty cheap quality for the price.

DO NOT RECOMMEND

Cheapest quality and return costs are not refunded

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses. Delivery was reasonably quick and cost me 22 euros tax. Unfortunately, all 3 pairs of glasses are made of the cheapest plastic and have an inferior look and quality. I am now allowed to return the glasses, but Le Specs won't even cover the return costs. Forget sunglasses from Le Specs!, I will never buy there again!

Speedy international delivery

Saw the reviews and started panicking as I had *wisely* remembered to check the reviews AFTER placing my order.

Arrived to the UK with no hassle after 6 working days.
Very pleased with the quality and packaging of the item.

Hope this may provide some reaasurance to anyone with similar concerns :)

First class service

First class service , refunded a price difference after glasses went into birthday sale , hours after ordering . Delivered within 10days with excellent and frequent tracking information and updates . Would not hesitate to order from this company again . Also no hidden custom , tax or delivery charges , just the price asked for at point of ordering , which was much less expensive than anywhere else !!!!

Quality issues finally resolved by customer service

I’ve been waiting 3 months for this company to respond about a replacement item. They originally responded within 48 hours asking that I provide a video of their faulty product. For visibility, the lenses in my sunglasses are loose and pop out every time I clean them or they are touched in general. They have been blatantly ignoring my emails from two accounts with no responses or intent to replace my item. I would not recommend these products to anyone anymore, which is a shame because I really enjoyed my first two pairs through a third party. Ordering through their website directly has been horrible and makes me no longer want to support them.
Update on 6/11 - they replied back to my post and I finally had someone reach out to me to get this resolved. They have been much more responsive after my complaint. Updated to 3 stars vs 1 due to the resolution and the fact that I really do like their products. Their products are protected by a 6 month quality assurance warranty for manufacturer defects.

THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER!

If you're from the EU please for the love of God save yourself from this awful brand. Do not order annnnyyyything! I ordered a pair of sunglasses on April 8th, then on April 28th I got an email from the Dutch customs that I need to pay an extra fee of 23,40 euros that wasn't made clear anywhere in my cart or in the paying process so I wasn't aware and informed of this possible occurance, otherwise I obviously wouldn't buy them. Then, after contacting their customer support about this they acted stupid and clueless and like they couldn't do anything about it. THEN i decided to pay the fees because I read here that the return is very expensive, since it is being returned back to AUSTRALIA(???????). But guess what, in the meantime, the customs sent my package BACK to them (even though I payed the fees before the payement was due). So i contacted the Lee Specs customer support again, and guess what, they never replied. There goes my 75 euros ON NOTHING. And you can't do anything to them. I wish this company burns to the ground. If I could give negative stars I would because one star is generous. Spread the word!

DO NOT ORDER THERE

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had. As a lot of people here, they made me pay 13 EUR for custom fee , however delivery should have been free. MOREOVER, I’ve been waiting for the pair for about 1,5 months and after couple of my emails to Lesspecs and DHL it turned out to be lost. They sent me another pair and after 2 more weeks I got the message to pay custom fee, which I wasn’t aware of. ZERO care about the customers, support agent tone of voice was without even small dose of compassion and help.
ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE!

the most disgusting service and…

the most disgusting service and feedback. they bear no responsibility, no help. I ordered glasses, but they were not delivered, but remained at the DHL point. It’s not written anywhere about the 17€ fee. I just lost time and money. le specs is the worst online store. do not order or buy from them.

horrible customer service. I guess as soon as they get a ccd approval for purchases they wash their hands from helping customers. I ordered 3 pairs of sunglasses to be delivered to the UK, they were never delivered, I attempted calling them, emailing etc to no avail. no one would even make an effort to help locate the packages. this company is a rip off

Product quality - 0/10

Within 2 months of owning a pair of polarised Le Specs one of the lenses has gone cloudy. The quality of the sun glasses is also awful. If you’re thinking about cheaping out on a pair of these, I would recommend you don’t.

At the time of purchase

At the time of purchase, the website explicitly mentioned free shipping, yet upon receiving the eyeglasses, I was slapped with an unexpected 20 euro customs charge because, apparently, the product is made in Australia. Nowhere during the purchasing process was it made clear that buying outside Australia I would have incurred in additional charges. Most customers, myself included, focus on the information presented at the time of purchase, not scouring the website for hidden details. Tje company's failure to explicitly state, during the buying process, that additional fees apply for purchases outside Australia strikes me as unprofessional and, frankly, a tactic that preys on customers' oversight.

Worst website ever

Worst website ever. It locks the buyer with the promise of free delivery and then upon delivery you have to pay 20€ in import fees, since the package is coming from Australia. This information is not clearly communicated and can only be found upon self study, truly misleading website. Highly advise against it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND. I placed an order on 1 December 2023 and still today 11 Jan 2024 have not received the item. Not only is it frustrating that the item has not arrived and they took payment for it, but their customer service is appalling and they keep saying it’s not their problem that I need to speak to the courier company. Their inaction to assist in locating the missing package while holding my money when it is clearly not my fault as a customer is unacceptable. They need to assume their responsibility and sort it out.

The worst experience ever I had on…

The worst experience ever I had on buying online from their official website.
Took so long for the shipment and once done it took 3 weeks when they mention maximum 2 weeks for delivery. Additionally no feedback from the carrier I did r even know when it would arrive and where was it. Once delivered surprise I had to pay the custom!!!! They did not mention that anywhere in the order I asked for feedback and a refund they were unable to give anything not even a discount code.
I really don’t recommend them go and something else for the same price.

Extra unexpected costs

I love the glasses don’t get me wrong, but when ordering the website mentioned ‘free worldwide shipping’ for orders over €60,-. The package eventually came from Australia so when it arrived in NL like a week later I needed to pay €18,80 extra for the inbound. I do not like the fact that they hid that part from ordering at Le Specs.

The worst customer service

This is the worst customer service. I asked a few questions because I didn't understand everything about the refund policy, but a week later I still haven't received any response. I was just ignored. Also, you have to do everything at your own cost, I mean print out the forms, go to the post office. It's a pity I didn't find out about this in advance and now I have to keep the sunglasses that don't fit me, just not to face these difficulties.

100€ lost

On August 2023, I made a purchase from this brand. After more than a month, it arrived in my country. The delivery company they work with registered they tried to deliver when they did not - I was home in all of the attempts and they never ringed the bell. The parcel returned to a pick up location but I had to leave for 3 months in the meantime - so they won't let someone pick it up in my place. When I got in contact with Le Specs, they didn't offer any sort of help and said they had no responsibility over the occurrence, nor did they try to help ANYHOW. After my second e-mail, they just stopped responding at all and haven't offered ANY solution whatsoever, causing me around 100€ of loss for sunglasses I've never even seen.
