Terrible company

Terrible company. Tried to get us to pay more money after leaving and tried to get us to pay way more than the damages done. Didn't just pay for a cleaned carpet for example - we're being charged for paying for an entire new carpet. My Father builds houses for a living, there is no way we made £2000+ worth of damages for them to fix. Impossible.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! Do not use the lettings room. From telling me at the start of application that it would be very strait forward and fast I now believe they are only out to rip people off. Messed me about for 8 weeks knowing I was homeless telling me different things. Said my application was compete and just waiting on move in date then denied me ever being accepted and kept 144 quid. Con company!!! Really upsets me how they can do this to people.

Complete rubbish they rent out flats …

Complete rubbish they rent out flats that are still classed as building plots and not ready to be rented and that's against the law and a year later when you have moved out still waiting for a letterbox and doorbell they send out bills saying the place was a wreck even know you have the photographs to prove the place was left the same way it was when you moved in if you don't want to pay stupid amounts of rent for the smallest of the smallest flats and don't want to get a fake bill afterwards then stay away

Stay away from these cowboys

Stay away from these cowboys. We rented a property through them (far overpriced but we were desperate). Anyway because we didn't have a deposit they charged an extra 10 percent per month which we was told would make up for the deposit by the end of the 12 month contract. After moving out they are trying to say we damaged property and left it in a state, when in fact it was left in much better condition than it was to start with. I don't think they realised that we took photographic evidence when we moved in. We are currently seeking legal advice about claiming the 10 percent extra we paid each month back. Please please stay away from this fraudulent company

JUST DONT EVEN BOTHER!!

Just a word of advise to anyone looking to use the letting agent LETME, Don't!! The tenants that lived in the property caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the flat, they didnt heat the property or ventilate it for 18months which caused mould throughout when they used a vented tumble dryer in the bedroom leaving the rent in the room, owe over £1900 in council tax, over £600 in water charges, a fine for no TV licence of £1000 plus they were months in arrears with LETME, not forgetting they stole my bank card and went shopping on it. In LETME's contract they were meant to put the property right within one month, we were the ones doing all the leg work chasing up contractors and also calling contractors to get them out. I constantly had to chase them for our guaranteed rental payments and the money we had paid to get the work done. There excuse was its because it's so close to Christmas yet they had 4 weeks to get all the contractors booked in ready to do the work but didn't. LETME waited until the tenants were 7 months in arrears before they started proceedings to get the tenants all the while the tenants were having parties, dealing drugs and abusing our property. They don't car about your property they only care about taking the money. As someone who was a letting agent for 5years I was disgusted by the service we received from letme over the time they had our property. I have to say the constant change over in staff didn't help as everytime I had to go back over everything that had happened. The only helpful people in the whole company were the three people who helped me at the end of which one has left the company!
Please share this on, so no has to have the same experience we did. LETME are UK wide bit based in Bournemouth..

from a landlord perspective

from a landlord perspective, this is the worse company i've ever encountered. They are basically criminals and should not be allowed to be in business. They have allowed tenants to remove furniture which wasn't theirs and left the property in a state and we still haven't had any of the repairs done or the keys back. They don't answer the phone or respond to emails, they are just crocks. DO NOT USE THEM. I'll be contacting offcom as they should not be allowed to trade.

Wish I could give negative stars

Possibly the most unreliable, difficult to contact, rude company I have ever had the misfortune to come across. Unbelievable, stay clear if you are actually serious about moving into a property, this company doesn't seem to actually want you to! Waste of time and money.

Stay well clear of let me they totally scam you I rented a 2 bed house and as it states free to move in well it's not they con you out of the money once they send you an eviction notice for no reason at all I just done all the house up as it was a pooh hole so put a lot of money into it to receive a section 21 just after the new year then to be told it's not a section 21 it was a section 8 even tho it states on the letter it's a section 21 lol conned me out of another months rent after I was out of the property as they changed all my rent days to cover there backs. Now I've paid this extra money and been trying to get hold of them for some kind of confirmation stating it's all over and done with but now they have that money no1 is getting back to me got a feeling I'm going to have this every month now. Rude, Aggressive, Disinterested and frankly, Criminal

Steer clear of this company - absolute scum bags.

They're contracts are questionable at best and their customer service is more akin to customer abuse.

This company is owned by the same people as Amigo Loans which I think speaks volume as to the calibre of character they employ.

From a Landlords perspective....

A year ago I was approached by Letme to rent a property through them, the house had just been purchased and was well maintained with new carpets throughout the downstairs and a brand new bathroom. After being assured that there would be regular inspections, no animals in the property and a guaranteed to return the property in the same state as it was rented in.. I am still waiting.... Six months in with a large dog in the property and complaints coming in from neighbours as to the noise, both myself and the tenant had difficulty getting hold of Letme. The tenant was embarrassed as they had been told they could have a dog and I was told well he is in there now...and its not a problem if there is any damage it will be put right. 6 months on with a hole in the carpet made by the dog, I am told that it is not fair for the tenant to purchase a whole carpet Letme will just buy a similar carpet and replace a square metre...not sure how that constitutes returning in the same condition! There have been lots of other things, but basically from a Landords perspective Letme are a Letdown. I have written to two of the directors, but they have not bothered to respond. You do get your money, but that's about it.

Would not recommend

Poor experience
- Only allow one tenant to apply per property
- Required a guarantor even though I have excellent credit
- Send tons of promotional emails and texts
- Shared my contact info, including phone number, with lending companies

What a waste of time!

They had a property listed as 1 bedroom flat and it was actually a studio, and the photos that they uploaded where for another property, went there to see it and I was told a totally different price
-the 1 bedroom was listed as 260 and they kept on advertising on gumtree, rightmove, zoopla but it was actually a studio!!!
-so they put photos with a 1 bedroom for a studio with the studio price!
when I called the operator she told me it was 360.....
