Extremely poor quality and unsafe – avoid letslighting (.de / .fr / .it / etc.)
I placed an order via letslighting.de, but it seems this company operates across multiple European domains like letslighting.fr, letslighting.it, and others. My experience was extremely disappointing – and potentially dangerous.
• Lamp 1: Remote control was broken. A major feature (color control) was completely unusable.
• Lamp 2: Arrived with damaged, exposed wires, making it unsafe to install. There were also visible scratches and stains on the lamp – totally unacceptable.
Customer support was unprofessional. Instead of offering a proper return, they asked me to throw the lamp in the trash and send them a photo (!). They also tried to convince me to accept a partial refund while keeping the faulty product – highly suspicious.
I had to escalate the case through PayPal because they refused to give me a return address or take responsibility.
⚠️ Based on my experience, letslighting appears to be a low-quality dropshipping site with no EU-compliant quality control, possibly even violating product safety regulations. The lamps they sell are not acceptable for installation in Europe.
Avoid letslighting.de / .fr / .it / .es – it’s not a trustworthy shop.
No real customer care, no safe return process, poor product quality, and possibly illegal or unsafe items.
