I placed an order for a personalized portrait with frame on December 1, 2025. I wanted to give to my son for Christmas. As of today, December 30, I have still not received. Made several requests to customer service.

Ordered one on December 4th and it arrived was much smaller than I anticipated. Asked to exchange and they said no problem. They sent another and it came on December 15th with two typos. Notified company and they planned to send a new one it has now been 10 days and I have heard nothing and Christmas has come and gone

The print quality is terrible and can easily see it's just printed on vs drawn like it looks on the listing. There is no way at all I can give this as a gift and I purchased 2 of these so I've lost £200 to this company

Charging £41 for a cheap, ikea type wood frame is insane and charging extra to enlarge the image, just for the image to look like shit is equally just as insane

Biggest mistake I have made with my money and honestly sucks I'll probably not even get it back

I won't buy from them again. I placed an order and realized I made a small mistake so I emailed them right away to get it fixed. They seemed helpful while emailing, but it was a different person every time who clearly was not reading the past emails so nothing was resolved. I received only one part of my order, in the incorrect frame. I literally just wanted two copies of the same proof, both in a frame- not a hard request. I paid 200 dollars for this and it is still not fixed. I still only have one photo and one frame (which is actually the incorrect color- I ordered an oak frame and it came in a black frame). I sent a follow up email to express the error and have not yet gotten a response. This has just been such an annoying experience. And now I will not have the gifts in time for Christmas.

Don't buy this is just AI slop. It's not hand drawn at all. They literally just get AI to apply a sketch effect to the picture you upload.

Really, really disappointed and upset by this company. These are not illustrations, but photos which are quickly recreated by some automated AI programme. Made my family members look genuinely creepy. Pet one was okay after some amends, but I didn’t approve it and they ignored all my emails and just posted it out the same day I’d said please pause this order and can we discuss the items. £210 on 3 prints. Terrible customer service, No replies from company. They just posted them out unapproved despite saying they wouldn’t send anything until I was happy. Would appreciate a refund.

Perfect every step of the way. Website easy to navigate, very easy to enter all details needed. Communication great and fast shipping.

I’m so pleased with my picture , it’s beautiful. I was under no illusion that the pictures as ‘Hand drawn’ in the traditional sense. The images used (might be stock images?) on their website show the artists using technology to draw, so I see no manipulation, as said by other reviews.

Will be coming back for at least 2 more!

Letterfest reached out to me to correct my situation and were very nice and helpful. They sent out two new planters, and the third one had the correct date (received 12-22-2025).The pot was still the smaller size rather than the large one I originally expected, but I give them credit for trying and for making a real effort to make it right.
I gave a three star because it’s still not right however I would give customer service a five star.

Letterfest is a very manipulating company as well as their website. I ordered a large wedding pot. I received a small. Come to find out they don’t ship large pots to America so I believe that they manipulated what I said I wanted I was paying extra for a large. I got compost instead. And they insist that I didn’t want a large pot even though one of the representative said they can’t ship large ones to America so why then on their website do they allow you to make that choice And take your money? Be careful of this company

Very easy to order, quick delivery and a beautiful book that is so special

Picture looks nice, and the paper was good quality but I am very sure that it was not hand drawn or water coloured - they have just put a filter on a photo. It was also done too quickly for anyone to have spent any time on it.

Letterfest failed to deliver either a genuinely hand-drawn product or real customer service, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The sketch I received looked AI-generated, the customer support responses felt copied and automated, and the company offered no meaningful resolution.

First, the product did not resemble a hand-drawn illustration despite costing $108 with the frame. The “custom sketch” looked almost identical to a basic AI output — and when I tested this by running the same photo through Google Gemini, the AI version actually looked more hand-drawn and detailed than Letterfest’s.

Second, their customer service reinforced my suspicions. Over several days, I asked whether the drawing was truly made by a human. Each reply was the exact same copy-and-paste script from different “agents,” never addressing my specific questions — including whether a replacement could be genuinely hand-sketched.

Finally, their proposed solution made things worse. Instead of acknowledging the quality issue, they offered only a $15 paid replacement for something that already looked mass-produced.

Overall, the combination of questionable product authenticity and robotic support makes Letterfest a poor choice for anyone seeking true artistry or honest customer care.

I discovered Letterfest by chance and it was love at first sight!
Their books are adorable, the illustrations exquisite, and I really liked the initiative "Get a tree with every book".
With every book you purchase, Letterfest plants a tree on behalf of your family in North Devon. They even include a map to where the tree is growing at the back of the book with a certificate and details of how you can keep an eye on the project.
I find it really sweet!
Since September, there is also one that bears our family name: we hope to see it one day with our own eyes together with our little girl!💗
The customer service is excellent, Ms. Marie has always been extremely kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and ready to help me.
I had never received a refund for shipping costs before, yet they were so kind to do so because, due to an error in their system, the discount code for free delivery had not worked. Such loyalty is unparalleled and rarely found these days!
The product is extraordinary, delivery was very fast, and the packaging was perfect and carefully crafted.

I ordered a framed picture of a family member's house taken from a photo. The result was great. There was a problem with the frame of the first picture I was sent. Marie was very helpful and sent a replacement without any questions. I would recommend this company which gives a very personal service.

Excellent service from the beginning to the delivery. I realised I had put the incorrect date on my order. I immediately emailed them to advise of the error. They were straight back assuring me that this had been changed. Then the pot arrived within a week, perfect with everything as it should be. I brought a personalised plant pot/set for my sister in laws birthday from Letterfest. It was really well packaged for safe delivery and the pot itself is really lovely. Marie at Letterfest was super helpful in response to my queries and sorted them promptly. Thank you!

First their service was extremely prompt. The Image I received was amazing. It was an black and white image of a friend's dog that had recently passed. They (my friend's were extremely grateful and pleased with the gift.
