However, after 9 months, he unilaterally turned off his middle-layer code and demanded $2,500/month for continued access—an unexpected and unethical move that goes against the terms of our contract. This action disrupted our operations and demonstrated a lack of professionalism and integrity. Proceed with caution when working with him.

As our business grew and operational costs increased, we introduced a pricing model to ensure the sustainability of our services. This was communicated to you in advance, along with the option to continue under the new terms or discontinue the service.
Your suggestion that this change was "unethical" or violated a contract is unfounded, as no such contract restricted pricing adjustments or service terms after an extended period of free use. The decision to terminate the bot came by your choice, only after it became clear you were unwilling to proceed under the updated terms after an year of free use.
