The most enjoyable training I've done in Education! Very active learning, and talked with and not at! Lots of practise and group work where all had to participate. Fast-paced and fun. Jane Abbott was also such an engaging, positive and sparkly host who enthused me! FANTASTIC!

I've just done the training for Lexonic Flex.

Overall, this was excellent. I enjoyed the training and I feel fully equipped to deliver the programme.

The training was well structured and paced, with plenty of opportunity to practise and to experience the programme from both the point of view of the learner and the person delivering it.

Jane (trainer) was great. She is obviously massively experienced at both delivering the programme and training others​. Everything she said was very clear, she made sure everyone in our training group felt included, and she had several really nice positive ways of saying 'no, that's completely wrong'!

It's not just a one-shot training and then you're left on your own. There are doc/video resources at lexonic.co.uk, plus email support.

It's worth adding that the programme itself is very prescriptive in parts, and both the materials and the training makes it v clear indeed what you _have_ to say/do and when you have more latitude.

It was an enjoyable, paced experience. I felt I'd stretched myself, too. The course is well planned and the supporting documentation was well-explained. Jane Abbott is an excellent tutor, I appreciated the professional and fun aspects of the learning. Jane's love of the analysis of words comes through and is encouraging.

I have had a brilliant two day training course with Jane. She was a warm, positive and helpful presenter who used the resources efficiently to help us get to grips with Lexonic quickly and confidently. I would have no qualms in recommending her, the resources or the scheme for any school wanting to take the scheme on board.

Our trainer, Hannah, was brilliant. She put us all at ease, explained things with great clarity and was very patient with us! I can imagine that the students that she uses Lexonic with pick things up quickly and enjoy the process too!

Victoria Priestley made the training very interactive and interesting. The training was online, but had the feel of a face-to-face input, as the class were engaged and enjoying the content. As an adult trainer; fairly new to the profession of teaching young people; I found the training excellent in developing my own knowledge and confidence with words. It has been a long time since I have attended a training input where I learnt so much. I am looking forward to putting the skills into to practice. Thank you.

amazing training day, learnt lots of interesting techniques to model to students around phonics. We all got given a resource bag with everything inside that is needed for us to carry out all activities. The two ladies delivering the session were lovely, caring and really helped us understand all the training provided to us.

Our trainer was really friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The training was intense but engaging and so informative. We cant wait to get started and see the results in school

I'm a teaching assistant who recently attended the Lexonic Leap training programme with Claire. What a fantastic day it was! Claire was an amazing trainer. She was so welcoming and approachable and made me feel completely at ease during the day. The training itself was really enjoyable and I have came away with so much knowledge. There is a lot of information to take in, but Claire was really thorough in explaining each stage of the intervention procedures ensuring that each bit of information was delivered clearly. She moved at the perfect pace and made the day fun along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed the training day and feel so much more knowledgeable in my phonics knowledge and teaching. I can't wait to see how my students respond to the Lexonic Leap activities and to see the incredible results that I'm sure it will achieve.

Excellent delivery and good resources provided.

Excellent trainers who were exceptionally knowledgeable. Really good use of repetition in the session to help embed what was needed. Resources are well organised and will enable us to really sharply focus on key areas our pupils need support in.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course, the trainer Jane is very good at delivering to sessions. I can not wait to get started on teaching the children these technics to improve their reading, vocabulary and spelling. Would highly recommend it to anyone, they provide all the resources for you, physical and video resources. Even the support after is exceptional.

Claire was an excellent trainer. We were all quite nervous but Claire put us at ease with her thorough explanations and demonstrations, calm pacing and good sense of humour.

Jane was amazing. So enthusiastic. She delivered brilliantly. The course was very fast paced (as will be the interventions) but Jane was encouraging, patient and engaging throughout. I would thoroughly recommend the course, but would add that practising and reading, watching the resources provided is an absolute must if you want to deliver the intervention successfully.
