Poor communication and service.

I have ordered a new RZ tukumi 450e. Ordered on the 28/06/2024 and informed delivery was the 8 July, this changed to 4 July then 19 July then informed unsure when delivery will take place. I have purchased Two other vehicles from Lexus without any issues but this will be my last, as i have lost confidence with the company due to poor communication and service. Need to get their act together.

First and last Lexus

After dropping the price of my 24 reg NX450+ Takumi by £5,000 after I just bought mine, Lexus customer service do not reply to a query requesting more background. Follow up with message to Lexus CEO and get a copy and paste response saying that it was a commercial decision with no response to my actual reply. They have the cheek to say I am a valued customer.

Try getting replacement tyres (NX350H) New

Bought a brand new Lexus NX350H and eighteen months in its ready for a new set of tyres, no problem you would think, until you discover that not only are there none in the UK but none in Europe either (235/50/20) Run Flats!! the run flat seems to be the issue here I have to say, but should we have a tyre failure basically the car is off the road which for a £50k I don't think is acceptable?
so believe it of not I an on ebay trying to get repaired used tyres just to get us away as I have been searching for over 5 weeks and we are sub 2mm

Amazing experience at Lexus Wolverhampton

I have been a Lexus Wolverhampton customer since 2017 when I purchased a new NX. Recently this March I purchased a new RZ, I am more than satisfied with my purchase. The sales team has been wonderful especially Ashley Raju who helped each way to make it easy for me. The service team especially Connor Fischer have been on hand each time to help with everything. Every small detail they go above and beyond for me. After reading other reviews I'm surprised but I feel so happy and lucky that everyone at Lexus Wolverhampton is so friendly and helpful. I couldn't wish for a better team of people to look after me, I'm blessed to have them. I would like their hard work and enthusiasm to be commended and long may it continue. I hope that other people can also experience amazing things as I have done at Lexus Wolverhampton. Thank you to Ashley and Connor at Lexus Wolverhampton and the whole team.

I bought an LBX in Marchfrom Lexus in Cambridge. The windscreen washer never worked. They tried to fixing it, I was told they they had to order a particular part. It's mid July, I am still waiting. Tried contacting but have had no joy. I was going to get another lexus but have now decided against it

All Lexus RX450 cars need to be…

All Lexus RX450 cars need to be recalled due to security issue, very easy to steal them apparently. My Mrs feels nervous and uncomfortable driving car around or leaving in any car parks.
We have already experienced once they tried to steal ours and also their own lexus insurance is refusing to insure due to this issue.

Unsatisfactory dealership experience

Ordered a new LBX in march from Lexus Wolverhampton initially all went well and the car arrived ahead of the set delivery date. unfortunately on the handover things were less satisfactory we were kept waiting for over an hour before the car was ready and even after that no one had noticed during the pre delivery checks that the tyre pressure warning light was on. The sales assistant had great difficulty pairing our android phones and setting up the Lexus app
The car had been ordered with mudguards none were fitted we were informed they were not yet available.
After the tyres were inflated to incorrectly high pressures we left the dealership feeling very disappointed two weeks later I was informed the mudguards had arrived I booked the car in and received confirmation from the service department
On arrival after a twenty mile drive I was informed unfortunately it was all a mistake no mudguards were available in fact I was told they did not yet exist
A search on Google quickly found they did exist and could be ordered from Lexus parts direct which I did
For the third time I booked the car in to have the parts fitted and the problems with the app sorted the sales executive had kindly offered to fit everything at no cost I arrived on the day and had to wait two and a half hours for what is a very simple job again unfortunately no one was available to sort the phones or app I left the dealership again feeling less than happy drove to Lexus Birmingham completely different
service no waiting everyone very helpful they confirmed the app was not installed correctly fixed everything in less that five minutes.
No prizes for guessing which dealership I will be using in the future

Check the keys!!!

If you buy a car from a Lexus showroom be very careful to check that the keys work. I bought a Lexus CT 200 in the Sidcup showroom in 2019. They gave me 2 keys, one of which I put away in a safe place. When I had cause to use this key for the first time last week I discovered it doesn’t work. It’s not the battery and they couldn’t give me a reason. Lexus now want over £500 to replace a dud key that THEY gave me. It’s a very clever way of adding 500 quid to the price of a car.

A Lexus LBX.

I have just purchased a Lexus LBX from lexus Swindon and the service I received from David was second to none. So helpful that drove to station to pick us up when we arrived to collect the car. Everyone at the salesroom were helpful and friendly. David gave a superb handover on the car, patiently explaining all the controls and features, and answering questions.
Hats off to Lexus Swindon. A great place to buy a new car.

A HAPPY CUSTOMER WITH LEXUS COVENTRY

I have just purchased a Lexus NX from lexus Coventry and the service I received from Laura was second to none as she new all about the car i was interested in and could answer all the questions I asked.

Shoddy customer service

I test drove the Lexus LBX back in march when there was a special ‘deal’ on to purchase. The garage could not be specific about the deal merely stating that the price would be different after the expiry date of the deal which did not fill me with confidence. The website for Lexus is unbelievably poor and does not give you anything near to the on the road price. It also does not list the LBX model to make any enquiry. I complained through the website about my local dealer only to be told to contact my local dealer. When I responded to ask for another point of contact, I heard nothing. I applied for finance. I heard nothing. The arrogance that comes across has put me off for life.

Lexus of Clearwater Lie to Your Face!

I love the Lexus car itself, but Lexus of Clearwater are Very Deceitful!
I bought out my lease for my 2020 300 NX on May 16th, 2024.

When you buy out the lease no matter what you have to go down in person to payoff the car.

The finance guy Quazi Hossain, goes by the name of Joe, tried to sell me a warranty. I told him STRAIGHT OUT NO 10x or MORE.

He proceeded to tell me, I cannot turn down his offer because he was giving me a 10 year warranty, his words bumper to bumper.
If ANYTHING went wrong with the car, transmission, engine, axels, anything electronic, suspension I would be covered.

So for $4300 plus tax, total $4526 my car is covered, (Bumper to Bumper) for 120 months, that is 10 years.
Anyway the next morning when I woke up I decided to look at Veritas Globel Protection to see that I was covered for 10 years with everything included.

1. Veritas Globel Protection is one of the worst warranty companies and the reviews I read said they will DENY EVERY claim.

2. He never gave me a contract on what they will cover, so I looked it up and it covered a key fob. That is all I saw,

I immediately called to cancel the warranty, they did send me a cancelation form to fill out, but it says it can take up to 4 to 6 weeks.

It seems they will charge me a lot of money to cancel but on the cancellation form it specifies paragraph 4 which I never received.

This is NOT The Only thing Joe charged me for, I was told because I bought the car, he was going to give me free oil Maintenace for 3 times anywhere I wanted to go.

When I read the paperwork when I got home, it states that I paid $365 for 3 oil changes. I pay $72.00 for synthetic blend at Tires Plus where my car has always been serviced.

The point is, this is a LEXUS car dealer and they lied to my face many times, they are thieves and should NEVER BE TRUSTED.

One last thing, he had me sign over 50 pages of documents on an IPAD where Joe Scrolled the he tdoc's and told me just to tap where the signature goes. He told me he was in a hurry and did not have the time but just sign the paperwork

I know better, so shame on me to have fallen for this but I DIDNOT receive all the paperwork I signed.

I cannot believe someone from LEXUS OF Clearwater would be SOOO DECITEFUL.

I would love to get together with anyone that this has happened to, I will take them to Small claims if I have to, but if they did it to me there are hundreds of others they lied to.

They need to be sued for their SCRPLUS WAYS! I don't know how they can stay in business.

A very disappointing buying experience

I had a very disappointing experience when buying a used vehicle from Lexus Birmingham Uk. During the viewing I noticed barely legal tyres on the front. I was assured they would be replaced with new. They then put those tyres to the rear AFTER my viewing and expected me not to notice, which to me is reminiscent of a '70's backstreet dodgy dealer.
I was fobbed off every time I called and not once did I receive a call-back as I was promised.
I was also alarmed to find I’d been given all the personal details of the previous owner which I’m sure must be a GDPR breach. I have given #lexusbirmingham every opportunity to correct their errors but neither their sales or after sales managers show any interest.
Both stars go to the salesperson who was professional throughout which is more than can be said for his managers.
