The customer service atrocious
The customer service atrocious. The product is such poor quality. I purchased an LG refrigerator in 2022. Since then, my compressor has gone out and the ice machine has broken 4 times. I tried going through LG and their repair person was horrible. He left trash everywhere and even some in my freezer! And the repair lasted 1 week! And so the next time I tried going through a local repair person and they only paid half of his labor and would not pay for the part because they told me I should wait for it to get shipped to him???? 5-7 days with no fridge and over the holidays??? That is ridiculous! I was warned away and made the mistake of listening to a sales person at RC Willy....no LG ever again!! Don't make the same mistake I did! When I called the repair guy he asked me right off the bat if I had an LG...that should be all the red flags you need right there!

Don’t buy LG!!! We bought a new LG washing machine for our holiday house. After 9 times using the tumbler maked a noise like a broken diesel truck.
After a half year trying to get an appointment with LG monteur, LG gives two address to contact them by myself.

I have had a combo-machine for a bit…
I have had a combo-machine for a bit over a year and frankly so much has happened that I'll have to try and make this short:
-Washer REQUIRES washing bags for all smallclothes or the clothes get sucked down into the pump, ruining them and stopping the entire machine
-The machine needs to be repaired any time this happens and they charge for it because it's "user error", even if the bag unzips mid-wash by accident.
-Their customer support has been condescending, rude, and downright unprofessional.
-The repairman they sent initially dumped about 1-2 liters of water unto my wooden floor because he couldn't be asked to move the machine.
-When it broke again and he wanted to repeat that performance he got agitated when we refused and starting yelling and getting hostile in my HOUSE. (Side note: I have PTSD and yelling tends to bring out anxiety attacks.)
-They still charged for this incident despite the fact that the machine was not fixed due to us asking the repairman to leave.
-The ONLY redeeming part in all of this was a delightful guy at their support named Hördur who treated me with understanding and was the only person who seemed to care about me as a customer at all. That man deserves a raise for his effort.
Worst, and I mean the WORST experience I've ever had with a company full-stop, the amount of back and forth, not to mention mental toll this has cost isn't just unprofessional, it's outright condemnable.

Maybe me but when you put powder & fabric conditioner in both are taken right away when filling up. Do not know if it's a design fault but with ever other machine I have had it takes it when it gets to that part of the wash.
Other niggle was I must has caught a pair of boxer shorts between door and rubber seal but not dangling out. Turned machine on walked away 5 minutes later kitchen was soaked water pouring out.

LG has a design fault that after 2-3yrs the standby light won't stay on so you can't turn on the tv. You must unplug it for a period of time then plug it in and quickly turn the TV on before the standby light goes off again. They also have a problem with burn in. So, considering what you pay for an LG tv i would strongly recommend something else.

Had to put a complaint in nothing was done about it yet. My husband reported our washing machine as having an errror on 4/11, he paid £159 service fee and was told as the motor was under guarantee still we would get this back if they found this to be a fault. Well that would be good if they even came and diagnosed it. Our appt wasn’t booked until I chased it, got it for 15/11 and the slot was 9.00 - 11.30. We get a message at 11.20 to say it was cancelled for the day and they could not fitt us in until 22/11 which is another week away.
I asked for my money back so I could make alternative arrangements and it was denied.
I think it’s disgusting considering I’ve paid over £150 out. I am on SMP money due to being on Maternity leave and have a 7 month old son with sivere reflux, his clothes are now all getting ruined by not being able to wash them to get out the stains.
I am literally so angry right now.
Let’s hope they come tommorow!!

LG OLED55B7V TV
I have got an LG OLED55B7V. It's a superb TV except for one thing. Screen burn!!
I noticed that the mute icon has burned an image on screen. The mute function is an inbuilt function which I cannot control...it's either on or off. Although the icon moves over 3 positions on the screen, the centre position is on much more than the other two. This is the worst burned area.
LG's manuals warn about screen damage but do not mention the mute icon. The damage to my TV is LG's fault but because my TV is out of warranty, they are telling me that they can only fix it for an estimate of £999. I'm sure all would agree that this cost is ludicrous. Note that with a standard warranty, 12 months isn't enough time for the burn mark to form...it's a longer term latent problem.
I've had a long dialogue with LG. I've sent pictures and explanations of why it's their design that is at fault, but to no avail. The customer service person has been very helpful...except that they won't accept liability.....so actually, they haven't been very helpful at all.

I would never buy a LG product again, bought a LG american thin q fridge costing £2000 . It was Leaking from the water filter, and LG did everything to say it wasn't under warranty anymore even though it had 6 months left. I had to prove this with pictures. Then it took them a week to phone me to say unless I pay £51 to them for there water filter then the warranty won't be covered. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST AS THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Update: the compressor has since failed. There has been a lawsuit about this problem. Repair people will replace compressor, but don’t guarantee that it will last more than a couple years.

I purchased all new LG kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer when remodeling my home. There was a recall that I was never informed of lost 500.00 food when fridge went out. Took two months to repair and is still not right. Dish washer extremely noisy and runs for hours. Range electric panel went out. Microwave does not vent properly. Never had any of these issues before.

If you buy certain products from LG you achieve a packback amount of DKK 2.500. You fill out a form online and that’s it. I did fill out the online form but not the money. They claim they couldn’t see and read my pictures. I send them again and heard nothing for the last 6 weeks. I tried to reach out to other LG people but no change / no help.

Da vi købte LG OLED 55” TV som kostede kr.17.000 for to år og 5 måneder siden, troede vi, at vi fik et super kvalitetsprodukt, som kunne holde i mange år uden problemer.
Men nu er der lige pludselig opstået en alvorlig fejl, som består af fremtrædende farvede horisontale striber på nederste tredjedel af skærmen, som tyder på ”screen burn- in”.
LG-support har meddelt, at det sandsynligvis vil være en bekostelig sag at få ordnet, nemlig at få udskiftet hele panelet. LG dækker ikke disse omkostninger, da garantien desværre er udløbet.

Der er foretaget test ”Burn-in” på LG OLED TV modeller fra 2017/18 som kan findes på internettet under "BURN-IN PÅ LG OLED TV", så noget tyder på, at der kan være et generelt problem
med Burn-in på deres OLED TV!!. Hvis det er tilfældet, løber LG fra deres produktansvar.
I TRUSTPILOT kan man konstatere, at LG Koncernen får en meget dårlig rating, da mange af deres produkter/service er behæftet med alvorlige fejl. For Danmark er ratingen 71% for dårlig og for UK er den 91% for (BAD)
Det er sidste gang vi investerer i et produkt fra LD og vil anbefale at man tænker sig godt om, inden man handler med LG.

Considering that you TV is approximately a half year over the warranty we unfortunately won’t cover the service of the TV.
You have done what we suggest can help against this effect, so if you want the effect gone now you will unfortunately have to exchange the panel.
You can get a price estimate from servicebroker.dk /servicecentergruppen.dk , but unfortunately it will most likely cost a lot.
We understand this is a bitter experience, but it is our final decision, and we hope you become satisfied with what you choose to do.
