After one email to Libertine saying dresses didn't fit and I wanted to return them I never heard from them again..no return slip in packaging. offered no

I ordered 2 dresses earlier in December 2025 but they only arrived just before Christmas . Firstly there was no information or return slip in packaging so I didnt know who to contact or where to return the dresses to. Despite using their sizing chart the dresses were a size too small. I looked them up on line but there a couple of stores who no longer stocked Libertine..over two years since stocking..
I emailed an address and was told I had 24 hours to let them know that I wanted to return them so I could not get a refund for them. Because I liked the wrap around dress I hoped that if I ordered the bigger size in 2 different colours they could do a swap..credit note for first two dresses would hopefully cover second two dresses. I said do not process the order or send anything until they had agreed with my request. They sent a further two dresses and NEVER contacted me despite multiple efforts. I would NEVER recommend this company. I got a thankyou for purchasing from NZ company with second order but still no way to communicate effectively with them. I question if Libertine is actually a NZ company. In total I paid $700-$800 for two orders of 2 dresses in each order and 2 were of no use to me
This was an EXPENSIVE lesson.

No reply after my order was ‘lost’

After I’ve ordered my shirt, I received a message that my order was send to DHL. The status remained at this step for several days, and after a week I thought I’d send Libertine a message. They told me the package ‘was lost at DHL’ and they would send me a message if it was found, or they would restitute my order after 1 days. This was on July 10th and haven’t heard from them since, even after sending 2 reminder e-mails. Seems like they want to keep your money and just ghost you.

No Service, no quality

Bought a Black Jeans, after two Times of moderate washing it was grey. Customer Service horrible. Told it was my fault. Disgusting experience, Disgusting quality. LIBERTINE LIBERTINE is cheap crap.

Customer service dreadful

My experience was awful. Dress was ok but not to my fit. Took several times to contact asking to return and rep said my emails were going to her junk email - even though I responded to the original email sent from her?
I returned the item (I paid for postage) and after 10 days and no movement I lodged a complaint to PayPal (within this time frame another company managed to return my funds during the new year period).
After to and fro, excuse after excuse, and not owning the error, I finally received my refund over two months after original purchase.
Save yourself the hassle and buy from another company - clothes are not worth it.

10/10 customer service

The shirt I ordered looked fantastic but it shrunk quite a bit after washing it for the first time. The customer service was really helpful and sorted out a size bigger for me. I would buy here again.

Excellent Experience

Over the past 5 years, I’ve acquired more than 20 garments from Libertine-Libertine, and I can confidently say that their brand, quality, and design are worth every penny. Their pieces now make up the majority of my everyday wardrobe, and I’m genuinely glad they exist.

Just a tip: their styles tend to run large, so keep that in mind when choosing your size.

I did have one issue with the quality of a Tencel shirt not meeting my expectations. Although their customer support was a bit slow to respond, they ultimately provided a refund via a discount code, which I found to be a solid resolution.

Horrible Customer Service

Quite nice products but absolutely horrendous customer service. They make it very hard to return anything (And let you pay for that additionally, that is clear before you order, but something to take into account)

Overpriced for the quality

Overpriced for the quality. Producing in Europe doesn't mean per se it is a good quality. I'm way more happy with well known cheaper retailers/brands. My advise save your money 😉
Sizing: Size Large might fit people with regular size Medium. "Model wears a medium at 1.90m" is a bad joke. Me 1.94m and similar shape has even with large a problem in sleeves and at the back lenghts

Terrible experience with return

Terrible experience with return and seemingly no one to contact.
Bought three pieces of clothing and wanted to return two. Nothing wrong with the clothing per se, they just did not fit as expected.
But now I have tried several time to get a return label, I even do not mind the cost. Nothing happens.
Will not buy from again.

"Extremely Disappointing Experience with Libertine-Libertine"

My recent experience with Libertine-Libertine was incredibly disappointing. As a loyal customer, I expected better treatment, but unfortunately, their customer service fell short.

I received a product that didn't meet my quality standards. When I reached out for help, I was met with resistance. Despite my efforts to explain the issues and provide evidence, they refused to offer a return label for the faulty item.

Feeling frustrated and unheard, I had to cover the return label cost myself. I also plan to warn others about this disappointing experience. It's a shame that a store I once trusted let me down like this.

My hope is that by sharing this review, potential customers will be aware of the lack of customer care they might encounter at Libertine-Libertine.

Disappointed!!

Great shop, but return costs

The label makes great clothes. The shop is simple and clear. Shipping to Germany was fast and well packed. Very disadvantageous: as a customer, you have to pay the return costs yourself. Personally, I don't think that's up to date. Even though the label is small...
