A company that cares!

I’ve worked at Liberty Security for the past 2.5 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it! It’s a breath of fresh air to be able to work with such like-minded people who's ultimate goal is making sure our customers are happy!

This company doesn’t care about its people. We had their security system for 3 yrs and recently decided to go with another company because of the lack of communication and care. We called and canceled and months later found out they were still charging me so I called them. They said too bad we need it writing which is the first I heard about this 5 months and $250 later. I asked to speak to the manager and he said they will cancel after they it in writing. Since they can pull the logs of the original day I canceled why can’t they see she never said I needed anything in writing?

Big mistake

Just like the other reviewers here we are stuck in a 5 year contract for non-existent service. Any time we call they are beyond useless and charge $70 for a technician to come out. Why do we pay $75/month for a service that doesn’t work, and why doesn’t the company care about this? I’ll tell you why- because once you’ve signed up you are liable to pay for the 5 years no matter what level of service they provide. Awful. Do not. Ever. Sign up. Get a ring doorbell camera.

BIGGEST SCAM

I wanted to support Liberty being local and all, gave referrals to this company both residential and commercial! BIG MISTAKE! Now that i have problems on site with my whole system and spending hours on the phone plus my wife spending hours on the phone without getting any professional help just lines getting transferred so we can wait on the phone for more hours? why? BECAUSE YOU SOLD OUR CONTRACTS OVER TO BRINKS OUT IN HOUSTON AND CAN NO LONGER HELP US?

BE CAREFUL WITH THESE GUYS AND READ THE OTHER 1STAR GOOGLE REVIEWS, I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. PAYING $78/MONTH ON A 5YEAR CONTRACT FOR A SYSTEM THAT DOESN'T WORK. BRINKS WILL SEND A TECH THAT WILL CHARGE FOR A VISIT AND $120/HOUR!

Customers be aware of you sign up on as they are very long contracts, also half the system can be bought cheaper retail then sign up with any alarm monitoring company for cheap NO CONTRACTS or atleast sign up with someone that provides better service.

One of your reps just knocked on my door at 9 pm (after I told him I wasn't interested two days ago). My dogs started barking at him (he knew they would because, again, he was at my door two days ago) and woke my baby up. Thanks alot. What is wrong with you people? 9 pm. So disrespectful.

False advertising, system does not work as promised

We were sold the system after being told by our sales Rep our dog would not trip the alarm, we've had them call the cops on our dog half a dozen times now. The fire alarm is the most obnoxious noise imaginable and then they expect you to be able to hear through the speaker box to tell the tech it's a false alarm, when they can't hear you and you can't hear them over the blaring alarm. The touch screen monitoring pad does not register when you attempt to deactivate the fire alarm or enter your code, and even on the rare occation when the security pad does work properly and allow you to shut off the racket, the alarm starts up again less than 2 minutes later. Their sales Reps market the system and being good for families but I'm actually afraid to leave my kids alone with the system in the house because it would be impossible for even a mature pre teen to be able to shut off a false alarm or communicate with a tech through the infuriating speaker box. Even though we were sold the system with false information we can't get out of the contact without paying out the remainder of the contact, paying even more money for a system that has never worked properly to begin with. Seriously the worst company I have ever worked with.

Better then my old company

I have had liberty for many years now and they have always been quick to help and easy to work with. I love the fact that they to treat me as a person, not like a prior experience in our first home when we were with a national brand that treated us like a problem not a paying customer.

Would never recommend.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with! This was the worst company I have gone with and half the stuff they told me wasn't true and they conveniently did not mention that there was a 3 year contract until after they installed. Would not recommend this company to anyone!!!! Not only are they refusing to stop the payment out of my account, even though it's my exes name on the liberty account! They refuse to let you talk to the person in charge! Do not sign up with this company!

Locked into a contract we don't want

All we wanted was a code door lock. A salesman came to our door and he was very friendly and convincing, offering us free installation of said lock. The onus is on us for not asking more questions - we didn't want a security system. We don't have a security system. We don't have door or window sensors or anything else that goes into a security system. What we do have is the code door lock we wanted, a sign on our front lawn that we didn't, and a contract that has us paying $60 / mo. for "monitoring". In order to get out of the contract, we have to buy out the remaining years, worth $2500. Yes, it's our fault, we should have asked more questions, and we also had 10 days to opt out of our contract and we didn’t. But Liberty/Moni should let us leave. No matter who I talk to they won’t and don’t care.
