Complete Failure – Lied, Delayed, Cold Food

Ordered dinner with a 45-minute ETA. Lieferando suddenly changed delivery to tomorrow. Restaurant confirmed food was ready, but Lieferando failed to send a driver.

Chat support was a joke—only automated replies. Phones unanswered. Emails kept lying: “wait 45 minutes,” then “15 more minutes,” again and again.

Food arrived over an hour late, stone cold, and ruined. Lieferando blamed the tracker and took zero responsibility. No apology. No care.

This service is unreliable and dishonest. App deleted. Never ordering again.

There is no customer service. Order never came.

There is no customer service. Only a bot, who tells you that you cannot cancel your order.
Today we ordered dinner and waited for 90 minutes. The bot didn't do anything. The restaurant said, it's Lieferando's courier, and they cannot do anything.
After 90 minutes, the order seemed to be "delievered" in their system. But we haven't received anything. We lost money and time because of this incompatible business.

Absolutely worst

Absolutely worst. No customer care. Order was never delivered and no one to assist. Virtual assistant gives same answer every time. No action taken.

I ordered dean and David and they did…

I ordered dean and David and they did not deliver the order on time and it took over 2 hours .. when I called dean and David and told them that they should be transparent in the time they take for the order on Lieferando , they said if they did that it would be a problem between them and Lieferando… I do not know whose problem this is … but since I ordered via Lieferando and their vendors have a prob with being honest on time with Lieferando , I think I would rate Lieferando service dismissal for putting such vendors and having such dishonest relationships

Ordered Chinese food on Dec 31

Ordered Chinese food on Dec 31, 25! payed with a giftcard over 70€!! The oder was not recieved by the restaurant, but the money was gone!!! Sent a few complaints to Lieferando, no response so far!!!

Food for thought with Lieferando

At the moment, I am in a small but picturesque city and ordering online is something I would do from time to time. Fortunately, most of the food places on this APP are the ones I go in person. It would be helpful all food providers would implement realtime GPS delivery system that reflects reality. Otherwise, this service is awesome and I am currently pleased.

Money taken and no food received (yet)

It's been over one hour since I placed my order and Lieferando says my order is not yet being prepared. I called the restaurant and they said they have already made and sent my order my way. I have no updates on Lieferando's website. I cannot know where the delivery person is with my order or if they are coming at all. I tried all possible ways to contact Lieferando and there is NO way I can speak to a human. The chatbot is useless and gives me no options. I am starving, waiting for my food which was ordered one hour and thirty minutes ago, I cannot ask for cancellation nor a refund, I have not received my food. This is the worst system for food delivery I have ever seen!

Paid, but never got my order, or a refund

Took my money, never for my order. No one to contact (except automated chatbot, the tech of which is about 15 years old or a pre-recorded voice message). Dreadful!

This is a scam..

The website design is horrible. But, worst of all, they tell you the food will be with you in 20 minutes before you pay while, after you pay, the eta goes up to 55 minutes. This is a scam.

EDIT: the ludicrous reply from lieferando just confirmed the scam.

The delivery times specified are average delivery times based on customer reviews.

Restaurants may not always be able to meet these times in the evenings and on weekends.

Once the restaurant has received your order, the actual delivery time can be confirmed by the restaurant as up to 90 minutes, depending on the volume of orders. You can then view the most important information about your order in the order confirmation.

My order was marked as “delivered” in the app, but I never received it. The doorbell didn’t even ring, and I checked outside and at the building entrance – nothing. I received a refund for the food, but the tip and delivery fee were not refunded. Very frustrating.

They deserve a minus 100 star..

They deserve a minus 100 star... worst management and worst customer service.
First To the person who will reply to this review. Dont write scripted messages. I know you dont care.
I emailed you on both Info and partner. I also contacted via all your social media.

As a resturant owner we are not getting our money from two months. We contacted them but no reply. The people on calls were simply cluless.
They dont know about anything.

Did not receive my food, lost the money.

I ordered food one Sunday evening. I did not receive my food, even though the website says it had been delivered. I understand some mistakes can happen, but there is no compensation for the fact that the food did not arrive. I lost my money. There is no call center, the only communication method is one broken AI that recommends irrelevant solutions. I do not recommend.

This must be the single worst app in…

This must be the single worst app in all of history. First of all, if you're working with restaurants with independent couriers, the best you can do is give them the info of the ordering person ( phone number). I order for a meal at 5pm. It's now 9pm and no one has delivered my food. A stupid AI "customer care" keeps me in an unending loop and refuses to connect me to a human. And then it shows that my food was delivered meanwhile it was not. This is literally scamming. Give me my money back and fix your shitty AI.or put a human in the loop!!!

Extremely slow delivery—had to make my own dinner.

I placed an order with Lieferando a significant time ago. The waiting period has been excessive; frankly, it took so long that I eventually gave up and had to prepare and eat my own meal in the interim.

By the time I finally attempted to track the order, it was completely redundant. I have now requested a cancellation as the food is no longer needed. The service today was unacceptable, and the delivery timing completely failed to meet basic expectations. I sincerely hope this cancellation is processed promptly.

Tried to order food

Gift card never arrived

Bought a gift card for my friend. It was meant to be shipped, but my friend never received it. Customer Service just said I had to work it out with the restaurant, which...there was no restaurant involved as my friend never received the gift card. Disappointing.
