Not a user friendly app.
I tried to connect my mother to this app so we could track her while traveling. It was extremely unfriendly and very hard to get her into the app.
We deleted the program and now are looking for something new.
App fails at accident alearts
My son was in an accident that caused airbags to deploy and his truck is now totaled. He was rear ended by a car that was estimated to be going 55+ MPH without breaking (no skid marks) His apple phone detected the accident and alerted emergency services. Life 360 did not detect the accident or send any alerts. I purhcased gold membership as a parent to be alerted of this very scenario and it failed. He was in a full cell service coverage area on a sunny Saturday. There was no reason for it not to work. There is not customer care team, just a AI chatbot that doesn't resolve any issues and repeats itself. I have cnacled my service and suggest you not waste the money.
Do NOT Rely on Life360 Roadside Help
I am beyond frustrated. Life360 advertises that with their Platinum Membership, they can send help directly to your exact GPS location in emergencies like flat tires or breakdowns. Sounds like peace of mind, right?
Well, when I tried to use their Roadside Assistance, guess what they asked me for?
➡️ THE COORDINATES MYSELF.
Isn’t that the whole point of the app - to know the member’s real-time location and send help accordingly??
This is misleading, unsafe, and absolutely unacceptable, especially in urgent situations when every minute counts.
Life360 said I was at home when I was actually in traffic
I was in the car with my son and Life360 said I was at home, we were sitting in traffic… it is incorrect
And it’s really expensive. I’m definitely checking other apps because I’m totally fed up with this one.
Omg the most disgusting
Omg the most disgusting, aggressive and horrifying ad I have ever seen. How do you think that ad will bring you customers. Seriously did you get a criminal to write that ad.100%evil
Life360 A stalkers paradise
Life360; a Stalkers paradise.
Yup I said it because its true. Great for keeping an eye the little one's but, when parents are split or even couples the app can be easily abused: this becomes a serious safeguarding and privacy concern.
I have witnessed the Non-Resident Parent contact their child and question the child on the where abouts of the Lives with Parent based on use of the app!!
Making claims of lies et al, where in reality 'Non Of Your Business' but try telling a child what's going on.
Furthermore, the Non Resident Parent making access to the child's Life360 when they are at school or on holiday.
The app should only be active for when a child is in the care of that particular parent. For example, if the Lives With Parent has ultimate control the app should notify that parent when someone else is utilising the app to establish the whereabouts. Introduce a feature where Non Resident Parents can be active/inactive during their period of contact.
Another feature would be 'Emergency Uses' whereby in collaboration with Emergency Services an Emergency contact circle with a unique id SHA-256 base or similar could be used for locating lost children / grown ups (eg. Dermentia) / people but, as before an audit sent to the 'Active Parent'.
If Parents/Couples live together then there should be a means to apply co-operating messages.
Beware of misleading customer service
I wanted to change the name of one of my Tiles. Reached out to Tile Customer Service and they said they could delete it. I agreed. By delete they meant disable forever! Nowhere in any communication did they say that. New The Tile now is junk. I reached out to customer service again and they ignored my request for a replacement Tile.
Ridiculous.
Only able to cancel free trial by email at last minute before getting charged...…
Also wish I'd read the reviews on here before signing up for their trial Gold Membership. Didn't think benefits worth it, so I spent 6 days trying to figure out how to cancel the free trial before getting charged $14.99. No phone to call, chat is generic AI bot, no live reps for customer service! Website help said to cancel gold membership via app/Settings, but there is no option there to cancel or downgrade gold membership LOL. About 12 hours before free was changing to $14.99 charge, I did get an email "Your Trial is About to End" from "premium_life360.com". I replied saying to cancel immediately. After back and forth emails to validate my membership circle, they did cancel the premium and confirmed change back to free membership. That was completed only a couple hours before I would have been charged. At least I didn't have to contest the monthly charges with my credit card company, or close that credit card # to not have to go thru the mulit-week claims process.
Yes, it caused a lot of wasted time and stress. In our cars, we subscribe to satellite assistance, and they do answer the SOS button. So Life360 premium "benefits" (if they do fulfill them?) are not needed.
The free version is good for tracking other family members -- don't know if they sell that info.
Rubbish.
Rubbish.
Works well for a days then keeps gliching out for hours and just tells me my child's location can't be found.. Not words a mum wants to see or hear. Will be cancelling and finding a better provider.
Don’t PURCHASE the customer support is…
Don’t PURCHASE the customer support is horrific and only AI bots respond but never fix the issue or give accurate information. It’s a scam!!
Nagging system notificaitons, but no tracking ones!
The tracking seems to work fine, but the location notifications don't.
I do get frequent and annoying notifications about the android permissions the app wants to change, which I can't as they drain my battery too fast.
Support unable to help, and their support system has an AI bot that takes a while to break thorugh to get a human - the result normally being "reinstall the app"
By all means try it - it may work for you - and you get a free week trial membership to try it out.
I'll be cancelling now however.

My son 16 was in a car accident this afternoon. Totalled the car, Air bag deployed....crash alerts are enabled, guess what NO ALERT from Life 360, what exactly am I paying for. Terrible, and disgusting they are taking advantage of parents who want to male sure their children are safe. There should be a law suit in the works!
Diaboloical and disgusting TV advert
Their advert keeps showing on YouTube, which includes descriptions and animations of various ways in which a woman's daughter could die. Not sure which is worse, the scaremongering or their expolitation of grief for commercial purposes.
the same functionality is free on…
the same functionality is free on samsung and Apple phones.
This app is a scam ! Please read !
Our family member was in a bad accident. We were never notified. No SOS. Called. He have paid for this service for 7 years now with kids. Obviously have a false security that is anything were to happen we was find out right away. The car was totaled. It shows the car going 63 miles an hour to a dead stop. This app is a scam. They just take your money. We contacted them and they just sent us a questionnaire and said thank you for the information it will help us to better the app. ! I’ve been paying for this for years. Very upsetting.
Disgusting advertising
Your radio advert, making light of child death is disgusting. There are plenty of ways to advertise your product without a mum singing about ways her children can die.
You have no empathy for anyone grieving the loss of a child or any children who now listen to your advert and think that those situations are likely. Disgusting
There is NO customer support and/or…
There is NO customer support and/or service at life360
The only way you can request service is through AI and AI could not at all handle the situation. AI connected us with a "human" who could only repeat to check bluetooth (dah!!!!) and that person disconnected and sent us someone else who did the same thing! We are one day into a new tile and will be returning it tomorrow.

Tile Review:
Planned Obsolescence and Poor Support
If you're considering buying a Tile tracker to keep tabs on your valuables, do yourself a favor—don’t.
I purchased a Tile with the reasonable expectation that it would help me keep track of important items. What I didn’t expect was that the device would stop working and that I would then have to spend over an hour chatting with customer support only to be told—essentially—"tough luck."
After meticulously troubleshooting potential issues, the support rep finally admitted that my Tile likely has a hardware fault. No apology. No repair options. No replacement. Just a smug recommendation to buy a new one.
Yes, you read that right. Their product fails through no fault of mine, and their best solution is for me to give them more money.
This isn’t customer service. This is a business model built around planned obsolescence.
To add insult to injury, there’s absolutely no meaningful warranty or accountability. If your Tile fails outside the narrow window of coverage, you’re out of luck. Apparently, longevity and reliability are optional features now.
A warning to all reading this. Save your money and your sanity. Choose a product backed by a company that actually stands behind what it sells.
Hopefully this will stop others making the same mistake I did!
Wish I'd read the reviews on here before signing up their Paid For Gold Membership. Unfortunately, everything they promised in their 'added benefits' are not to be believed. I have had the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any company.
It has caused a lot of wasted time and stress.
