We got a fast-talking phone call during the dinner hour. When asked what our rate was they couldn't tell us but stated they had the best rate around. Once we realized that was not the truth we canceled within the 7 day. However they still charged us a late fee that we had to spend time with phone calls and emails to get it waived.

Don't deserve any stars
LifeEnergy is nothing but a scam to get your money. First their reps tell you that they represent your electric supplier, which they do not. They even have the nerve to show up dressed like your supplier and have false credentials, They give you a line that your supplier is charging you too much and they are going to lower your rate. Well watch your bill, LifeEnergy charges you extra above and beyond what your supplier charges, which is never explained This means you pay your supplier more that the original bill, I am contacting the attorney general and every other agency I can about this scam, I have already sent a letter to the Federal Attorney General. The stat police say cancel the contract and DO NOT pay any cancellation fees and they will handle it from there, They also have descriptions of the reps also video of them and the conversation.

They ripped me off!
My previous contract was for 1 year and ran until March 28th. After comparing different company's plans I decided to renew with LifeEnergy on March 16th for a plan that was more expensive than my original plan (about 11.2 cents per kilowatt verses 8.0 cents per kilowatt). I expected the new plan to begin at the end of my current plan. Instead, they backdated the start to February 21st and charged me the new higher rate for what should have been the last month of my previous plan! They certainly would NOT have let me out of my old plan early without a penalty but THEY voided the last 5 weeks of it with no warning! If I had known they were going to rip me off I would have waited until March 29th to renew with them. The only benefit is the my new contract will end 5 weeks early than if they had began it when they should have at the end of my previous contract so I will be able to change to another company sooner.

They did not do what they agreed to…
They did not do what they agreed to when I signed up. They were supposed to transfer service on the next meter read date instead they did it the next day. I asked to have a supervisor call me back because I wanted to be reimbursed for the expenses that they cost me as small as they work. As expected no supervisor called me back. I can’t wait for my contract to expire so I can go to somebody a little more ethical.
