Do not use this company! I went with LifeSafer because my DUI program suggested them; that was a mistake. The people doing the calibration and the install were wonderful but now that I have finished the program I can't get them to take the the thing out. First they told me that I had not filled out the paperwork, so I asked them to resend me the paperwork and they did. I filled it out on my phone because they only send the link to your phone, not to your email address. I did that and when I called them I was told that I hadn't filled it out right. This was the beginning of the nightmare. They never called me to let me know that the DMV had rejected my application because the birthday was wrong. I had to call them to find out. I re filled out the paperwork and yesterday I called to ask if they had heard back from the DMV I was told that they haven't and that it can take up to 10 business days to hear back. This morning I decided to call the DMV's Mandatory Action Unit and had a wonderful and enlightening conversation about my situation. I was told that LifeSafer had already received the ok to remove my device earlier that week. I was told that if you ask them to take the device out of your car that they legally had to. I was also told that if they refuse, that I need to initiate a complaint through the DMV's Occupational Licensing Unit which I am going to do next. This company is ridiculous. They refuse to uninstall the device even though I have completed the program and have even gotten the physical copy of my unrestricted license. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

caused multiple violations due to the system not aligning with my tesla, paid “lockout fee” multiple times due to that reason. when asked after the 7th “lockout” was told to endure whatever was wrong bc i was the one paying, not them. car would shut off in the middle of the freeway WHILE driving, almost caused multiple horrible accidents because system kept looking for an engine on an electric vehicle. 0/10 if you drive a tesla.

Representative was extremely informative and helpful, addressed my questions and concerns promptly and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of state and company policy. When we encountered a conflict in policies she was quick to find the information to resolve the issue. She managed the hold time extremely efficiently and educated me on several aspects of my account management and what to expect with the next steps in my process. I couldn’t have asked for better service.
